just by him saying the liquid man, u r thinking who is he, they most probably won't show it in the episodes as there isn't enough time to put it in
so they put it in the graphic novels, which some peole don't have access to

Id go with big. There are just too many people who are regulars. Even recurring. So I think he'll be recurring tops and thats it. If he's going to be regular im going to get nuts with all those regulars lol

The liquid man will appear in the show, most likely. I mean, they all do. Like Ivan, he appeared a few minutes in the show. maybe in flashbacks or in the future episodes.

It's the mark of good storytelling to hide things from the viewer, to create intrigue.

As someone who had no knowledge of the graphic stories (til this thread) I thought it was fine not to know who The Liquid Man was. It's not like his name is particularly vague as to what his powers are...

In fact I'd be happy if Heroes had more of these sorts of unexplained references; enough to make you feel like there's a depth to the universe. Once people feel they have a storyline all figured out, there's no mystery left and they become less entertained by it.

The graphic novels make you more engrossed in the series... and also it explains a lot about the characters. I think it's a great interactive tool to make us understand the series more... plus, it contains awesome graphics!
