i thought that was so cute how happy ando was to see hiro again.. and also how overjoyed hiro was to see his old friend too..

but then when hiro asked where his dad was, i suddenly thought, 'oh crap, i forgot about that little pickle..'

Hiro and Ando are my favorite pairing on the show, and it was adorable when Hiro saw Ando again.

It was also devastating when Ando told him his dad was dead.

So nice to see but then the dad part.... that was horribly for Hiro !

Well, Ando was in Japan when the ''bomb'' blew up. There's no way he would know about the outcome of last season.

If he couldnt go to NY he would assume that NY got blown up but since he was there and nothing was destroyed = logical reason that he says they stopped the bomb

It does if you look at in a certain way, you can think of time travel as stepping through a door into another room, or better yet into another country. Where the time there is different, but when you look at your watch its your time, like episode 2 last season when Hiro was talking to the cops.

But I'm glad Hiro is back, and since he's back with Ando we should get some good Hiro moments, I missed those moments, but we probably won't get it for the moment because of his dad's death.

Good point...he gave Takezo the sword as payment for protecting the village of Otsu, though Takezo had the symbol on his banner already, so it's a bit cloudy as to the origin of the symbol. It doesn't seem like he made the sword specifically for Takezo, though he might have.

i love it that their back together again. the reunite scene was adorable. but somehow i had a feeling that if hiro wants to go back into the past, he might bring ando along. and he'll probably make sure adam can never be seen on the face of the earth. i think hiro will be really angry when he finds out its adam and he will think that adam killed kaito because of hiro.

and i hope they will reveal the origin of the symbol before the season finale. cos its getting confusing.

adam was to be kensei, but hiro fractured time going back and changed history BUT the comics depicted kensei as a japanese warrior, not english. and if you remember correctly, yaeko did the painting of white beard's campsite. so i think the story of kensei that kaito used to tell hiro is indeed hiro himself. it was yako who spead the story of kensei and drew the comic of kensei. and maybe that why the story ended suddenly after he gave the dragon his heart. cos that's all that she know of.

and yaeko did say this, "as long as i have a voice, all shall know the story of the noble takezo kensei. the boy hiro nakamura will have tales to help him sleep."

that's what happened when he was a boy. maybe this is his destiny, and maybe this was the legacy that kaito was meant to pass down to him.

Hiro Did Not Change Time Since He Himself is Takezo kensei, if u understand that, then this becomes less confusing, the whole "cut out his heart" story is a metaphor, for the sacrifice Hiro had to make to return to his rightful place in time.

to be honest, i really found hiro kinda stupid in the reunion...(though i lvoed the chemistry and soon frgt abt my grudge!)
that was a tragic scence with princess and hiro and hiro again lost his love once again..
then later he's all happy and smiles and YATTAA..and compeltly frgt abt the lost love..he didnt even shed a sigle tear....

It's because behind his frail body is a strong young man... kidding.
Maybe because he's always been focused on his mission. Besides, he's always in touch with reality (that he belongs in the future)

That makes a great deal of sense!

Whilst your brain is cerfuddled, heres another thing to ponder...

Time travel will NEVER be invented.
Because if anyone in the future had invented time travel they would have travelled back
in time to prove it worked and we'd know about it!!

Not necessarily... they do have a working design (but till this date Lasers are just not powerful enough)... I don't remember how it really works, but basically you can only travel as far back as when the machine is first turned on... watched it on Discovery a few years back... haha.

E.g. You turn on the machine in 2008, assuming the machine is left on of course, ppl from anytime in the future can travel back as far as 2008. Of course if its turned off for any reason the chain is broken and will have to start from scratch..

Till that thing leaves the drawing board however.... Time travel will remain SF.. heheh.

^^Is that the one that passes light backwards against itself? I read something about that ages ago but thought it was just New Scientist being typically optimistic. Something to do with passing light waves in two circles, going in opposite directions, which slows down time inside the circle?

But thats the point...

With technology and inventions progressing with time, someone in the future who HAS invented a Time machine can then travel back and tell the people of (lets say) 2007 how to build a Time Machine... Therefore a Time Machine that only works inefficiently, like you have described, wouldn't exist because the Time Travellers from the future would travel back to tell them how to do it properly in the first place!!
