When Noah burnt the paintings, I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if you burnt the paintings and they never came true? But then I noticed that 2 of the pictures came true so far: Hiro fighting Kinsei and Peter in front of the Biohazard sign. Laaaame.

The paintings will come true, but maybe not in this timeline.

The painting of Jessica breaking down the door has already happened too. We're just waiting for Mohinder to pop a cap and Noah to take his final bow. Personally, I dont think Noah will die. I think Mohinder will shoot the gun but at someone else in a plot twist!

Are we even sure that it's Naoh who Mohinder shoots? Surely Heroes will trick us and not make the obvious so....'obvious'.

the conclusion that i came to was the the events in the paintings all seem to happen seperate from each other. and a certain amount of time from each other.
surely if Moh killed Noah then it would have just been one painting.
I personally really don;t think that Moh is going to shoot Noah

Most people would think that its very logical that Mohinder will shoot Noah and maybe the writers just knew we would assume this. Obviously everyone is expecting that Mohinder will NOT shoot Noah/HRG. So its still possible that Mohinder WILL shoot Noah/HRG but if u look at the paintings then the most logical reason would be that Mohinder will not shoot Noah/HRG as the paintings arent in relation with eachother but to the bigger picture (virus).

Actually, we've never seen Painting Two {?} close up. And the one with a mystery WHITE person holding a vial of virus COULD have been Niki, but I was under the impression that the hand holding it was male. If you notice, they never showed the series number on the base of three of the paintings we've already seen: The one with the hand holding the vial, the one of Niki beating the door/wall, and the one of Suresh and the smoking gun. I'm guessing that they are paintings 3, 4, and 5 but there's no way to be certain without seeing HRG's pictures.

Hmm, just had an interesting thought. Based on season 1, the order things are painted aren't always the order they come true.

So, who not only knew these paintings were connected, but also knew the order they'd happen?
