I know that we found out that Nathan Petrelli is Claire's "real" father, but wouldn't it be interesting if we found out it was truly Adam Monroe??? They both have blonde hair and the same power... and who's to say Claire's mom didn't get around?

don't think there was ever a DNA test or anythign but from what i can gather....Adam would have been imprisoned at the time of claire's conception.

adam wont be claires father....as for grandfather? maybe. he could have been arthur befor he was adam

I don't think they'd add up yet another "Hey I'm your real father" twist to Claire's plot. Finding out she was Nathan's daughter was enough, imo. Having Adam be her true real father would be stretching it a bit ^^
However... I think there is definitely something going on, about those hereditary powers... First, it looked like there was no relation whatsoever between a character's powers and his parents' powers (Meredith burns plus Nathan flies equals Claire heals ; DL phases plus Nikki kicks a** equals Micah talks to machines, and so on). It seemed totally random, which made any connection between Nathan and West or between Adam and Claire irrelevant. But now we've seen that Matt has the exact same power as his father does... So, random or not ?

I say random.....
There is a chance that a parent and his child will have the same ability but it is very slim.
Matt just so happens to have that ability.

Well, Linderman did set up Niki and DL because of their potential. Appearently, there is a way to track it.

Maybe if both parents have abilities... but it isnt entirely stated for sure yet. About the 2 parents having powers so will the child is hard to say whether what is true and what is false. So many questions unanswered and hopefully a few key questions will be answered in the next episode.

Maybe Adam is Elle's real father and Bob just adopted her... or maybe even better, Adam gets laid alot and he is the father (or grandfather or even great grandfather) of all those with powers! and Chandra was angry and Adam and made a formula to make expectation of where Adam would go, to find out where Adam would go, check all it's population for women which Adam might like and calculate the possible offspring they could have. That would make DL and Nikki!!!!! eeewhh.....
