Heroes use to be in the top 10...still doing worst than the first season.
Its critical buzz is slipping, and so are the ratings. NBC's Heroes (29th place, 10.5 million) fell out of the top 10 in the 18-49 demo. (It was 12th.)
Here's a look at the 10 most watched broadcast network prime-time shows for the week ended Sunday, according to Nielsen Media Research:
1. Dancing with the Stars (Monday), ABC, 21.43 million viewers
2. Grey's Anatomy, ABC, 19.3 million
3. 60 Minutes, CBS, 19.2 million
4. CSI, CBS, 19.1 million
5. Dancing with the Stars (Tuesday), ABC, 18.9 million
6. Desperate Housewives, ABC, 18.6 million
7. House, Fox, 17.3 million
8. Sunday Night Football, NBC, 16.5 million
9. NCIS, CBS, 16.3 million
10. Criminal Minds, CBS, 14.9 million

It seems that Monday is a bad day for tv shows, both Heroes and Prison Breaks are amazing shows that air on the same day and you canīt watch them both at the same time.

I guess they should include those who watch tv shows through the internet.

Even I'm sad about it, I'm not quite surprised when I look the way the writers and producers messed up the whole show this season. -.-
Even I like many characters in the show, I start to believe that the first plan of having new heroes every season with new storylines, might have kept the interest higher than just "hold on" to the popular heroes from the previous season and kill all the ones that wasn't that high on popularity. :/

Heroes has to compete with Monday Night Football and Dancing with the Stars. Not good. The fact it's 12th is still good.
If Heroes gets taken off the air I may just boycott regular TV in general and just watch sports. It's stupid that the only thing that gets great ratings is reality TV, slut TV and cop/crime drama.

That would be why I had to DL the episode instead of watching it - the communal TV was taken by some steelers fans =p

i doubt they calculate the online views or even the tivo. I DVR every episode , i make it home around 6 or so on mondays and by the time i get to the couch and watch my shows it's around 7:30 so i play chuck first, and then heroes- COMMERCIAL FREE!!
