Got Heroes > Heroes: Episode Discussion > Volume Two: Generations > Chapter 07 - "Out of Time"

I mean, its waaaay too farfetched that he teleported exactly after Ando had finished reading about Hiro´s adventures. I mean, why couldn´t he teleported the day after they stopped the bomb ?

Does anybody thinks that this is way too much lazyness in history-telling ?

What can stop Hiro from teleporting days ago and eventually save his own father?

After all, Hiro´s faults in season 1 was that while he promised to come back in time and save those who died in front of him (The Vegas guys who were killed by Nikki, his girlfriend Charlie who was forgotten and never mentioned again), he never really tried to save them after he regained his powers.

Hiro could go back and stop himself from kissing Yaeko (the girl), but that wouldn't be cool for the serie.

There's a perfect excuse for this, Hiro doesn't want to mess up the time and space continuum, right? I think they've used that before.
Still I can't see how Hiro is not going back in time to save his father or at least talk to him. Of course if they showed that when his father was waiting the show would have gotten too complicated.

Too complicated and messy indeed tongue.gif
Hiro cant go back in time as it may have big consequences (if it didnt already). But Hiro must see how the outcome will be and then change it. Currently the virus will spread out, which would mean that if Hiro went back in time and saved his father then he may actually cast something worse then the virus upon the world. He needs to see how it goes and change some little events that will decide whether there will be a catastrophic event or nothing.

He already messed up everything by turning Adam to the bad guy he is now only because he wanted his childhood "Fairytale" turn out to be true. -.-

So everything that was related to Adam has changed only because of him anyway.

Not necessarily.

The stories Kaito read Hiro as a child still came true, even after Hiro meddled in them and went back in time. He helped Kensei achieve the goals in the stories, even the part where Takezo Kensei got the lovely swordsmith daughter as a princess. Remember, Yaeko said that for as long as she breathed she would tell the story of Kensei, who Hiro became to her. She loved him, so she was his princess. And Hiro cut out his own heart metaphorically by leaving her, even though he loves her and she him, to come back to the present day.

The stories are the same. Just because he thinks he was back in time to change it, that doesn't mean that it's true.
