LOL... I was thinking of the same thing too. But dont you think that all of them (the company) are all Adam's decendants? Adam being the only one living with powers in 1671... So he may have been around (the world for that matter)

But there's a downsize of his being immortal... he can't have children or the whole world will be his children like Noah (in Noah's ark) ha ha ha just joking.

Are we sure that similar powers pass based on family ties? The only concrete example would be the Parkmans. We have several heroes in the Sanders family tree, but none of them, so far, have similar powers. Or even powers that are closely related. Well, i suppose you could make an argument for Micah-Monica have similar powers, but it would be a stretch.

Indeed, the characters we've seen with identical powers would be West-Nathan and Claire-Adam. Now, i'm not saying Nathan didn't sleep around, since we know little of West's home life, but...it could be a coincidence that the Parkmans had the same power.

Were there not English in Adam's time? Were there not Japanese? He may be the "ancestor" of a vast majority of the world, but surely not EVERYONE.
