I think Alejandro needs a seperate thread from his sister.

As far as we know, Maya causes a disease/virus/sickness which causes sudden shock & blackens the eyes of people around her killing them, and her twin brother Alejandro can cure the sickness, almost seconds later.

It is my view that these are seperate abilities.

So as of Episode 7, we know a disease or sickness that wipes the world in the future, we know the regen powers of certain other heroes and bad guys, we also know powers can manifest into much more.

Lets hope Sylar doesn't have his way with Alejandro, and he can play the role of the "me no speaka english" world plague savior, so possibly Alejandro could be the new Linderman, but with AoE ability(Area of Effect).

I certainly wouldn't like it if Sylar would kill Alejandro, it however would force Maya to stay close to him if he isn't planning on killing her as well. And well we did see a bit too much from the twins just be killed and their powers absorbed by Sylar. I'm sure at least one will survive.
I'm very curious how Alejandro will/would respond to Mohinder and the other heroes.

Okay, the story increase a bit since Sylar appears. But it is always been the same Story when they shown up. Maya killed someone by accident and cries a lot. Have there been any episode without Maya crying?

It would be good if Peter meets Alejandro before Sylar kills him to cure the virus in future.

If one must survive, I hope more that Alejandro will. He gets on my nerves too, but Maya does more than him. Actually he didn't cry so much.

I don't think Alejandro's cure ability works on the shanti virus (that wipes out 93% of the population), not sure if you were referring to that.
Myself, I expect Maya's disease to be a cure against the shanti virus, as in the graphic novel was written something about harmfull abilities which might be able to cure cancer. This disease might as the shanti viruswork as poison against poison.

I do agree however that should seriously speed up the twins, cause righ now they only take away time from the main story.

In my opinion, they wasted a very potential character and messed up the whole story of the twins.
I would rather have them team up with mohinder and the others to help against the virus. Maybe Mayas virus is the same and Alejandro would be able to recover all that with his power or maybe Mayas virus neutralizes the other virus and alejandro on the other hand could recover everyone from mayas afterwards.

There were tons of possibilities but what did they do? Changed Candices/Sylars storyline, got Candice killed and teamed Sylar with the Twins for nothing.

I completely agree with you. Regardless of the crying, it was interesting to see a set of twins to begin with, let alone what their individual potentials were. Being fraternal meant they had different DNA, so their abilties were independent of each other's; him being able to stop Maya was a nod to evolution (making sure the host survives), but his power would have went beyond that. It's very disappointing to me.

Candice/Sylar would have made a more interesting team.
Alejandro... I was waiting for him to drain some of Sylar's powers and than go bad a** with them as he goes solo to find his sister, but unfortunately he died.

After watching the episode, I wondered if Alejandro even had a power. I mean for all we know we could of thought that he was curing Maya but it could of been Maya doing it the whole time. She could of just needed him as support and didn't notice it that she was doing all the work.

But then he didnt die at the wedding so idk.

Maybe Mayas skill i a virus and Alejandros ability is just to stay healthy from deseases?

oh he had a power alright. If Maya can create poison and stop it, Alejandro can do the same, if he was given the chance... besides how can you resist a hot latino like him!!!

He didn't die when Maya used her habilities, and when he stopped the effect, we saw his eyes beeing black a moment, so it's a fact : he had a power.
Maya having the "stopping" power, maybe Alejandro had the "staring" power (but big boys don't cry, so he never used it )

I may be weird but Alejandro was one of my favorite new hero. I felt he had potential to do great things. His powers could've evolved in a many possible ways (become a healer, have Maya's power...). His death was cheap and too quick IMO. I'd have liked to see him interact with others characters like Peter, Nikki or even Elle...
