1. West can fly. That's the point.Either he flies leisurely or fast, it's still flying. Besides he flies leisurely only when he's kinda relaxing. What about the time he grabbed Claire and went after Debbie? He was flying a faster there, didn't he?
2. You're right, Ted's explosion was not on a grand scale, Peter's was. Ted blew up a house. Peter blow up an entire city. Remember that the Haitian is working for both sides, for HRG and for Angela Petrelli (shown in season 1). So why take his memory? For what? To help him forget his power? Then why would future Angela encouraged Peter to remember, even citing what he can do?
3. Can't prove if the smoke trails around. He could be flying on a stright line and swooped only to catch Nathan.
1. That's not the point. West has NEVER shown ANY relation to New York, the Bomb, or Peter or Nathan. His role is entirely ruled out in this 4 months ago thing. Also, didn't the company WANT the bomb to happen?
2. The Haitian doesn't work for the company (Angela Petrelli) anymore (aka, he only works on Bennet's side, to keep Claire alive). Remember, when Mohinder cures the Haitian, he also states that he works for a company, leaving the Haitian to take his memory away and escape. He obviously doesn't work for the company anymore. I'm also pretty sure that the ability to explode doesn't have ANYTHING to do with memory loss. Remember, when they find Peter hidden in the crate in Cork, Ireland, he is found wearing the Haitian's Necklace, meeting that within the 4 months, he meets the Haitian and loses his memory at a later date, after the bomb.
3. Video's blurry, you could both be right.
