Well, my friends think I'm wrong, but I think it's an interesting idea. What if Adam's power is just like Peter's? He can absorb powers. My logic goes a bit like this...

1) We know there are multiple absorbers since Claude already hinted at this to Peter in Season one.

2) Adam is obviously a really important/powerful figure at the top of some unknown group; being able to absorb others' powers would make him dominant as they are portraying him to be.

3) Adam has multiple powers or it was hinted to at least. He obviously can regenerate and Bob tells them about the Snow in Miami/Could have been a Tsunami which made me think that Adam can also control weather (like Storm from X-Men).

4) If the above are true, it is plausible that in Adam's grand scheme of things, he went back in time using the same powers as Hiro and posed as Kensei to throw off Hiro or something like that. He would not have necessarily had to absorb from Hiro as perhaps Hiro's father has the same power. Same goes for the regeneration.

Just want to see what other people think. =)

I did mention this too in another thread, it would be pretty cool.. though how the hell could they end anything then.... would he be impossbile to kill and impossible to keep locked away

i like this idea as it would make him a lot more useful as a bad guy, but where did he get the regeneration powers from, as he must have got that power from someone else, and its looking like he was the first of all of the heroes to manifest a power so far.

i prefer the idea that after 400 years he has managed to figure out how to take/mimic others powers (as sylar did) but without killing people to do so. meaning he has some sort of attacking power which would make him a little more dangerous.

but as is stands i think he just uses his regen powers to great effect, and think. you could beat someone to death if you cant die, as no matter how powerful they are you just keep coming back... so does he need anymore power.

(ps: will people stop going on about how hes immortal and more powerful than claire, he stays the same age as when his cells start to die he regenerates thus staying at a nominal age, just as clair will do when shes 30+ and her cells begin to die.)

Yes maybe Adam is like Peter!
But i have another question...how is it possible that Adam is soooo Young!!??
Look at the other member of the company...maybe he keeps always the same age!
What do you think about it?!!

I think that maybe he was directing an effort to divert a tsunami. He directed someone with water control or ice powers to freeze the tsunami into snow. Or something.

Also what is the reason of him wanting to team up with Peter? Do they have similar powers and thus why he wants to work with him?

He could of chosen Sylar or anyone else. Sylar, i'm pretty sure wants Hiro dead too.
