because claire has de same power of adam, and claire is nathan daugther, well is a theory

I thinking this makes more sense if you were to suggest that perhaps Adam is Claire's Father. It doesn't seem that "powers" skip a generation.

or that they're related at all. Matt and Maury were a coincidence.

Micha is a technopath, his mom has super strength, and his dad can...could phase through matter.
Mama P can manipulate (speculation), but Peter is an empath and Nathan can fly.
*many more examples*

I like this idea for other reasons. We've never seen Mr. Petrelli. His blurry profile in the picture of the 12 looks like Adam/Kensei actor to me.
Tons of speculation! And I'm still reading prior posts, please pardon the newbie if this has already been covered.

Disadvantages: The Petrelli sons have seen thier 'father'. Only one of them has seen Adam (unless Nathan saw any pictures Bob might have had in files on Adam Monroe), and Peter could still have a gap in his memory, but... Dad doesn't seem that important to him anymore.
What was Mr. Petrelli's power btw? (Not a huge issue for me, children of two "special abilities" parents not inheriting either power but those of only one get that parent's ability is a possibility I like.)

...LOL, blink.gif And how old is Peter supposed to be? Angela could have had conjugal visits? And a company-hired stand-in of a father for the boys? Or Bob and Adam coordinated lying to kill or trap Maury, and Adam was only locked up for 6 months at the beginning of season 1... or not a real prisoner at all.

Actually, Adam might be the root of them all... imagine being around for 400 years. (Peter said this ch 8, "for a guy who's been around for 400 years...")

People need to stop with these asinine plot twists. Just because Matt and his father shared the same power doesn't mean that Nathan and Claire have to necessarily do the same.

Nathan and Peter are brothers, they have different powers. Presumably so did their parents.

Nikki has super strength, DL can walk through walls, but Micah has technopathy.

Getting it, yet? It's not always the case that the offspring have similar powers to their parents.

Claire is and likely always will be the daughter of Nathan and that fire lady. And that's the way it should stay.

They were all sons of Adam. tongue.gif

And West? He's the real son of Nathan. Claire isn't his.

Are those already revealed??

But isnt it fun to speculate??? But I agree that powers are not hereditary and that Claire is and likely always will be the daughter of Nathan and that fire lady.

Thats interesting, I could see Adam being the "father" of everyone. I mean being around 400 yrs, he had to meet a lot of girls and god knows how many kids, grandkids, great grandkids, great great grankids etc. eh could have. Then your talking about cousins and yeah its confusing but back to my point. Adam being the original hero could be a good twist.

i was just smacked in the face by the biblical significance of the name Adam. wow i'm slow.

That's my wildest guess but who knows....
It looks like there's couple more seasons to go...

Sons of Adam. Daughters of Eve.

I guess it's possible for Adam to be the father of all heroes. I like that theory better than "Nathan's not Claire's father!!" or "Nathan is West's father!!" dry.gif

Also, for parenting consideration, remember that Adam has been locked up for the past 3 decades. While that doesn't prohibit him from being Nathan or Peter's father, it certainly puts a damper on him being Claire's real father...

I don't think people should get so hung up on the notion of Adam being Claire's real father. Otherwise the whole emotional journey she went through in the first season in meeting her mother and her real father Nathan counts for nothing, now if that was to all change then it's bad storytelling.

I don't think powers are hereditary as siblings of other heroes don't display any sort of powers as there powers are gained from genetic mutations from evolutions it's all in the genes

We see often before that it doesn't mean anything. Childs didn't necessary have the same power than the parents. Same for grandchild.

And: If it is Nathans father, wouldn't it also be Peters? I think Peter would recognise his dad?

But isnt it fun to speculate?

I somehow find that more and more boring, always the same question coming out if a power was revealed. Can't someone be someone with special abilities without Adam beeing their father?
And, if all with special abilities must be Adams Child, I start to wonder if Adam had the time in 400 to do another things like having Sex wink.gif
