I just don't feel its the right time for him to go. Reasons are...
1) Intriguing personality. Morally grey for sure. (as are all Company dudes)
2) Unexplored power. Yes we know he has Alchemy, but we have hardly seen him done anything more than turn things to gold. I'd like to see more of it used, more applications, more "imba" usage that would deem him worthy of being one of the twelve. We've seen too little of all the Company leader's powers.. I'd like to see more.
3) Potentially good source of information. Through him we could learn a lot of a the Company's background. Then again we could always raise another Company founder to be the revealer of secrets, but well...
4) I wouldn't mind if they made him a main character in fact. (just like Angela Petrelli, in fact these 2 recurring characters play a way more major role as compared to Monica, Sylar (in this arch), Maya and Alejandro)
5) Don't know much of his background. Not enough character development.

Bob is incredibly awesome. Joining the ranks of my great favorites on this show, which isn't easy to do... I certainly hope he doesn't kick the bucket. It would be a great loss of an unexplored character AND a classic actor.

Bob rocks! I love how he tells everyone: "Call me Bob". We still don't know his last name

. Very cool power and of course has a very intriguing personality... Curious what his interaction with HRG is gonna be like.

Bob is without a doubt the most interesting character of this season. Like Bennet last year, he's a character I love to hate, but way grayer morally I think...

He won't pull out a gun and blast someone... but there's certainly the impression that he can put into action plans with far worse consequences.
I love his dynamic with the other characters. That strange relationship with Elle, his regret over Niki, the way Nathan won't take crap from him, how he pushes Parkman around... and I don't even know where to begin with Mohinder but it's almost as awesome as the interaction Mohinder had with Sylar last season. So very excellent.

Lets home he uses Alchemy to turn that bullet into water or something. Didn't Kring say something about to look out for more than just turning things to gold? Up to now we have not seen anything else other than gold. Perhaps tommorow night, we might just see the next level of Bob's power.. Then he'll stop the bullet. But well.. if he dies. Then. well. What can we do? Haha.

I definately want him to stick around.

However, I would be thankful if they reveal the rest of the company instead of just showing joanna cassidys character (Victoria Platt) as a corpse before the season ends. -.-
I mean the second season was mainly about those people and we don't get to see the 4 last ones at all while one of the last 5 plays only corpse by saying she was the last one?

Common! You can do better.

Bob is...weird
This episode kinda shows that everyone was innocent at a time. With Hiros's dad, he knew he made mistakes and felt remorse for the things he did, same for Angela. Oh and the whole scene of them saying good bye...chills. But back to the topic. When Elle got shot and you saw how Bob reacted, didnt you see a glimpse of Noah. Meaning that he will do what he has to do but he still loves his daughter. I really hope that Bob doesnt die because I would love to see his character advanced more.
Oh and I pray that we see Victoria Platt and learn what everyones power was/is. I was really hoping that Matt would ask her what there powers were. Oh and Matt....I'll just post that in another thread.

Well it seems that she won't be alive when matt finds her depending on the spoilers around.
However, I hope they are wrong so we can see at least joanna cassidy talk a bit about the past by revealing some things.
