Wow, just wow. It seems that Hiro is now going to fight for real. Hope he handles it all right. Peter can kill Hiro at anytime and Adam is invincible. This is looking really bleak for Hiro and I predict a death really soon.

The more and more this plays out, the more sore I get that they're cutting the darn season short because of the writer's strike. These stories could have been so much more had they not had to put the rush job on everything, to tie up loose ends.

But with that being said, we've got 2 more episodes left and there's a LOT that needs to be revealed.

- the company's demise
- Sylar's demise/imprisonment
- Hiro's showdown with Adam
- HRG returning to his family
- Maya and Alejandro's fates
- Micah and the N.O. Family's connection with Jessica
- Who is Emily Pratt??!!
- Peter and Nathan's reunion
- If/When/How Does the Virus outbreak happen?

If there's anything else, PLEASE feel free to add on. But I know ONE THING, that's a LOT to handle in TWO EPISODES.

Heroes against heroes...wow.

I sooooo hate the strike. This is wrong. Only two episodes? How do they want to end the story in two episodes? They even didn´t get the boring twins into story, or Sylar or even Monica for the matter.
Nathan and Peter didn´t even meet yet. I miss their brother´s chemistry.
If 1x11 ends with To be continued, as, I think probably will, I think I am going to kill someone

who says the company will have a demise?? or Sylar for that matter, the writers said they had adapted the ending already with the strike in mind, and with the strike not looking like ending, they dont need to write Sylar out, cos Star Trek will be finished by the new season. We don't know what's gonna happen in season 3, so Sylar may not be in prison at all!!

and its not Emily Pratt, its Victoria Pratt, it was on Parkman's photo in episode 9.

and the last 2 episodes are leading up to the outbreak happening.

Peter vs Hiro

As mentioned, they didn't rush anything, but here is a little more. The writers knew of the strike so they decided to divide Season 2 into volumes much like a comic book. There are 2 episodes left in Volume I of Season 2. They simply won't start Volume II of Season 2 until the strike is over. If the strike lasts until Season 3 would normally start (start time for a season is arbitrary anyways), then Season 2 Volume II will just become Season 3, Volume I but there won't be any missing stories.

We won't find out everything, or even if we do, there will be a lot of new questions brought up ... It was written to be a Christmas cliffhanger while they took a break in December but now it'll just be a lot longer because of the strike.

I read that they figured the strike was imminent so they changed some things around and shot an alternate episode that could function as a season finale if the strike happened.

Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current “Generations” arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted (fingers crossed!), the alt ending would likely be scrapped.

So, I'm wondering what all they're changing and leaving out and etc. now that it is going to be the season finale. I wonder what the next "arc" of season 2 was supposed to entail that we're being forced to either miss or wait longer to see if it does finally get played out eventually next season.

Does anyone know how long after this strike ends we can expect to see more new Heroes episodes? If the strike ends tomorrow are we still going to have to wait until next fall to see "season 3" or do you think we may see a second installment of "season 2" in the late spring? I'm going to die if I have to wait until next fall.

Whats with the writers strike?

Sack them all get new writers sure there is plenty out there in the US

In short. Writers of many american series (like Greys Anatomy, Heroes, Scrubs, Emergency Room, etc.) would like to get payed for each time the series gets broadcasted over the internet. For example is heroes broadcasted on nbc.com and the production company earns big money with advertisment on the website. But the writers don't see any money. They don't want that much just 4% of the whole internet broadcasting cake.

Sadly the big companies seem to be very greedy and stubborn. They didn't even want to negotiate, until very recently. Now there's a date (November 26th), when they want to sit together for a first discussion. That doesn't mean that the problem is going to be solved then, but it might be a start.

So far writers have "produced" eleven episodes of the second season of heroes and none more. Here, watch for yourself, the quote of a "heroes" writer in this youtube clip (at about 1 Minute 31 seconds):

Hope this might help you to understand, why we might not see any further heroes episodes after ep. 11, until next fall. Since a strike might dure several months.

May they find a solution shortly, so we get "our" heroes back :-).

To those strike posts:

1. It was said in season one, that a volume is not a season ... they planed since the beginning to cut the season 2 in two volumes

2. the christmas cliffhanger was reshot, so it can work as a season cliffhanger ... I think we can expect a bigger one then just the christmas cliffhanger

3. they shot 13 episodes ... but the other two wont air until either the new seasons starts (which is next year by september or october *cries)
or if the strike ends really soon and they can go back to production so we get the rest of the season like everyone wanted ... maybe we have to wait a bit longer then expected but still it wont be 10 months

The way I understand it, the original idea was to break the season 2 in two "volumes", with other words two main stories. One about the "generations", like who is Adam Monroe, who are the people on the photos, what about the next generation (like Elle, Monica, etc.) and the other story/volume about the "virus", that, as far as I understand it, should be the main theme for the episodes after christmas.

With other words, it seemes, that there are two main topics (generations, virus) for this season and for each there was supposed to be a volume. But since the strike came inbetween and there are only 11 episodes filmed, namely the finish of generations with "the End" of Adam Monroe and a cliffhanger concerning the virus, the producers have a problem. They don't know, when the writers are coming back to write the episodes about the virus. So they made an alternative ending, in which there isn't a cliffhanger about the virus, but a solution for the virus and another cliffhanger, with which they can start a different story (namely season 3).

So you see, after episode 11 got aired, there is only one way to get our heroes back before next fall. Only if the writers stop striking in the very next future and only if the producers decide, to sell season three as volume 2 of season 2, only then we get heroes back next spring.

And since it doesn't seem very likely, I wouldn't count on it, unfortunately.

None the less we have two great episodes ahead of us, so let's just enjoy the remaining parts of season 2.

Such a great previews for the next Heroes episodes, I do hate to admit I'll be waiting for God knows how long for more episodes after the Strike is over. Hope not much.

there was a new one during the patriots and eagles game, had a scene of sylar firing a gun so that's a sign that he doesn't have his powers back just yet
