Umm, if he was related to the elders then they wouldn't need to bag+tag, would they? They'd just bring him in for a blood test when he was a baby, and maybe do some testing and mind-wiping like Bob did with Elle.

I'm fairly certain he does have one. He said something along the lines of "I can fly, Claire. That sort or negates the whole parental discretion thing." ok, so that a very bad paraphrase, but still...

I think that sentance, coupled with his encouragement of Claire to use her powers to get back at the other cheerleader, shows him to be a person of...um, shall we say...questionable character. To make a comparison, he could be seen as Pyro in the movie X-2. If a strong enough personality came along that was pro-people-with-powers *coughadamcough* he'd probably jump at the chance...all the while being torn between that character and Claire.

They bagged and tagged Nathan as well didn't they? As well as Matt and with the company's network I would be really suprised if they didn't know he was Maury's son. Angela seemed to know this episode and I don't think she has been told.

Not knowing anything about west bugged me as well, Claire trying to fit into another family would be fun to watch. Or Noah visiting to give them a friendly "hello".
