At the end of the episode, was that really claire's blood or adam's? if it is then claire does have the same power as adam and will live to be as old as adam (angela explained that adam just stopped growing old).

And i really liked this episode...adrenaline was flowing at the end.

Cellular Regeneration.
Soo.. Yeh. I guess so.
ReDeemer
I think it was Clair's because Bob took Clair's blood in the episode and there is nothing that says they have any of Adam's blood.

But think about it..if Noah was given a little of her blood, does he now have the power to live forever? Or is it just for a little bit?
Admiralkirk
The company certainly had opportunity to stockpile Adam's blood over the years. Which makes it curious as to why they would need Claire's so desparately to save Niki.

Well then it's obvious that they don't have a warehouse full of Adam's blood because they do need Claire's. I'm sure they weren't expecting on Adam escaping so they figured when they needed it, they could just take it.
Admiralkirk
Of course, the 'need' for Claire's blood could also have been a ruse by Bob to manipulate Mohinder into revealing/turning against Noah.

Refresh my memory, but Mohinder knew of Adam, but did he know what Adam's power was? I know it was revealed to us in a few different ways, but how much does Mohinder know about Adam?

The question is, would Adam have let them stockpile his blood? Granted, they could try to draw blood by force, but then would they want to risk accidentally letting him escape in the process? I think it'd probably be safer to let the need arise, and try to convince Adam to voluntarily give some blood, than to take it and risk escape.

Then Claire comes along shortly after Adam escapes. A nice, (relatively) safe means to the same end.

Then why take Claire's blood while Mohinder was elsewhere?

As angela put it, Adam became dangerous and they are all afraid of him.

How exactly did Adam become "dangerous"? He only has cellular regeneration powers, i cant understand how that is a threat to anyone...... Also , this is kinda off topic, but what is this season supposed to be about? Like, last season it was kinda Save the Cheerleader, Save the World, and Stop the Bomb, but personally i think this season is getting a bit too higgeldy-piggeldy for me, and its getting all mixed up.... Well, obviously their is more people popping up with these abilities, but its getting to be too many people, but in a sense, thats what i love about Heroes, it gets very complicated and the story-lines get very intricate...but nonetheless, its still a bit too intricate...

Well bearing in mind he's immortal he could basically do *anything* and be able to get away with it...

Remember... Power corrupts...

THAT is why he is dangerous...

well then he is unstoppable...
if peter TK's him or go nuclear on him or fly up in space and drop him from there or phase through him or even brain - squeeze ...Adam will still be walking after a few seconds!

Angela explained that they thought Adam's power was cellular regeneration like Claire's, but because Adam's cells are regenerating constantly as opposed to Claire's when she is injured, he cannot age or have any problems with his body ever. mellow.gif Whoa....cool.

He's immortal?
He has a 400 year old mind filled with naughty tricks tongue.gif

He's dangerous wink.gif

Season 1 = Bomb
Season 2 = Virus
Jayranger
Adam's blood may be the cure to the virus?

Errrrrmmm..... Are ya sure about that one, mate? I would think that the whole cellular regeneration thing, much like Wolverine's healing factor, operates constantly. While the visible effect is only noticeable once the person is injured, we can probably expect Claire to stop aging once her body hits it's physical peak.

this is probably way off since adam's blood did heal nathan drastically but maybe adam's blood had no affect to the virus..? mohinder's blood was once the anti-virus but then it soon wore off as niki still had the virus so maybe claire's blood is just another chance at finding the anti-virus..

but mohinder's blood worked via anti-bodies, while adam's/claire's blood has a different way of functioning
berkavitch
Come on it's obvious.

Mohinders blood is the anti-virus befor the strain was mutated.

Now they need a mutated anti-virus.

Peter Patrelli, He no doubt absorbed Mohinder and Adams powers to make his blood a super regenerative anti-virus that can save them all.

Also if Adam/Clair/Peter can regenerate to a point of growing back limbs what if one of them got cut completely in half, straight down the middle. would the two halfs grow a new half each so as ito create two seperate beings. and if so would they have seperate mind states or share one collective conchiousness.

I think its alluded to that the bit of the body with the brain in would regrow/regenerate...

Otherwise you'd have 2 Claires, 1 of them who grew back their severed toe, and the other who grew FROM the severed toe!!
samourai57
If I remember well, Angela said that Adam could regenerate and nothing else. But she also said that due to the excess using of the regenerative ability, at a moment the body stops growing old.
I should re-watch it again...

"What we didn't know, is that if your cells continuously regenerate, after a while you stop growing old..."
That's what Mrs Petrelli says...
So that means that can happen to Claire as well... Great! Always staying at the perfect age, height, weight, figures: the dream of every girl ;-)
