This is NBC we're talking about, lol! Yes, you bet your bottom dollar they will be releasing S2 on DVD. Why wouldn't they? It's still a season afterall.

They will have to adjust the pricing due to the reduced number of episodes, but you should expect the DVD to hit the shops by the Fall...unless the strike ends in the next couple of weeks - then it will be a full season..and you could also expect that DVD by the Fall.

So yes..

The question is..how much will the writers be getting from that DVD..? 4%..or 8%

Yeah, this makes me wonder about the release date of the DVD, but I haven't a doubt in my mind that they wouldn't release one.

Even if it is only 11 episodes, I don't see it being released any sooner because of the pricing dispute. Hopefully the DVD production itself isn't put to a halt, that would really put them in deep shit.

That depends on when Heroes returns. If it doesn't return before the 2007-2008 television season ends, then Volume 3 will most likely be considered Season 3.
