The trailer said that two heroes are going to die. They even had a row of pictures, not that i ever believe that kind of trickery. But who do you think its going to be?

I'm kinda hoping its Maya and Monica, even though they are attractive additions to the show, their stories drag. Maybe they were supposed to have something to do with the second and third story arcs this season but now that its all done next monday, who cares.

Ive been trying to think of possiblities, and all i know is claire, hiro and peter can't die since their the backbone. and there has been complaints about the divergence of the writers from the original characters.

so any predictions of who and how?

I didn't get to see the heroes in the preview but i think it would be...

im banking on nikki, and then the other choice is wide open. if i had to slightly narrow it down i would say all new characters plus molly, sylar, and nathan.

That is true. I really hope it's monica and Miguel... Though I'm kinda hoping Adam will die- but that's only because I see him as a villain! But the ad only said "a villain will rise" meaning there can only be one..
But knowing TV, they'll throw something in there...

1. niki will die saving monica from the gang in a fire explosion
2. Elle will kill sylar.

adam will be buried alive along kaito's body in the cementary

i think nikki will save monica, but as said before, the virus wont get there in time. it definatly can't be moncia and nikki, that would leave micah all alone.

it could just be semantics... two heroes dying could just be like HRG dying.

well my first guess would be Nikki, just because she's so close to the cure, and they never make things easy for the Hawkins' which will include Micah (having lost 2 parents in a 5 month period.) You will most likely see her sacrifice herself in order to save Monica and Micah, from the hoodlums trying to burn the neighborhood down, thus finally becoming a real "hero" like D.L.


The other one would have to be really unexpected like Bob making the same kind of sacrifice for Elle, or to truly save the world from the Shanti virus.

That would just be a total shot to the heart. It's bad enough Niki's pretty much assured to be dead.

My money's on Niki and Maya.

I heard that the two dead would be characters that the resounding fanbase doesn't really like. So, I figured it would be Maya and Alejandro, but since he's already dead, now I dunno.

I have my bets on Niki and Maya too - but Maya's with Sylar, and Sylar's got Mohinder coming, and Mohinder has miracle blood. So I don't know if that one would stick, were it to come about.

My two picks are Niki (of course) and West. After watching the Global Television and reading the post above, it seems obvious. Oh, just so you know what I'm talking about it's around seconds 7 and 8 of the youtube version of the preview... it looks like Elle is giving West a serious shock.

yeah i think west goes now that i think about it. the fanbase doesn't like the gushy gushy of claire and him. i did kinda start to like him in the last few episodes though. he wasnt as cheese.

Nikki and Monica, these 2 are in danger, either one to die a rather lame death.. well lame as in their death will not be anything related to the main storyline.

- Nikki saves monica and dies in the explosion
- Elle kills Sylar (Thank God) hopefuly in the next episode to save Mohinder and Molly


It's said that Maya gets killed by Sylar but Mohinder brings her back so it can be the case that they count her death to the 2 deaths in the preview.

Adam will be buried alive so if they count that as a death this might be also one of the two

West leaves so he can't be the one that dies.

Molly could maybe be the one to die in Sylars hands but I hope not.

Monicas storyline will be the main plot for Volume 3 due to a interview so I don't think they will kill her so fast.

i think nikki and maya(cut open by sylar if he gets his powers back), i think sylar will die too, but i don't think he counts as a heroe

I like West, I don't want him to die. I think Claire needs someone she can count on in her life again. He really fit that bill in the absence of Unkie Peter. With her dads both out of the picture, for the time being, and Peter off doing his thing with Adam, she's got no strong male figure to guide her.

My thought too but then we know the virus gets out (hence the Helpless title) and we know Nathan dies in the first outbreak AND on top of that i read Nathan finds out first hand just how devastating the shanti virus is .... so maybe its Sylar & Nathan

I reckon it'll be out of Nikki, Maya, Parkman, and Suresh. Probably Maya and Nikki? I dunno, maybe Nikki gets killed in the explosion/an explosion? just from looking at the trailer. Maya could be Sylar's latest casualty, or he could kill Parkman as he tries to save Molly. I'm not sure. But Parkman's character seems to be going somewhere, we saw that when he went into Angela Petrelli's mind without her bidding. Suresh is involved in the whole Bennet storyline, whereas Nikki isn't really doing anything, and Maya is with a killer. So...

I really hope Maya is going to die. I don't think I'd mind if Niki did, though that'd be sucktastic because then Micah would have no parents. But she's likeliest to die. Nathan annoys me, so he might die, and Matt is getting more powerful and like his father, so he could die. I hope they don't kill him though, he should learn to conrtol his powers.

And also, if they kill Hiro, I will fer frakking serious start a strike!

i think it will be nikki that dies(although i hate to say it) as she dies in a fire by saving monica, thus making micah scream 'moooom' in the promo. then miya shot dead by sylar 'now look what you made me do'

i think also that elle will save mohinder and molly from syalr but sylar will escape with claires blood (from mohinder) and will regain his powers at the very end of the episode, thus mohinder not being able to save maya without the blood.

Why to our neighbors to the North get better previews than we do?

The trailer said the two heroes will fall. Are we sure they will die? And as others have said, with Claire and Adam's blood, no one has to stay dead.

Assuming they die and stay dead, I think one will be Maya because Sylar is not known for leaving heroes alive. The second could be Elle since she is prone to making mistakes, let Peter get away in Ireland, got captured by HRG, apparently let Claire get away since Bob is berating her in the preview.



I don't think it is the same scene as the exchange. We last saw Claire threatening Elle. I think West tries to fly her away again and Elle thunderbolts them again.

I have a feeling that Sylar will die because they may had to write him off so he had time to work on Star Trek.

I do think Niki will be the one to fall as well. But we'll wait and see.

What if Monica becomes a villain? Seriously, she copies everything she sees. What if she sees something about crime or what not and beings a spree that she can not control?

Mohinder is out completely. Unless something has changed, the powers that be (I believe it was Tim Kring) said Mohinder is one of the only safe characters for the duration of the series.

If I have to go by the five pictures shown, I'd say Matt and Elle. It's got nothing to do with the characters themselves, it's the closing of their storylines and who their characters are involved with. Matt's got nothing going on now and Mohinder can take over for Molly. Elle has potential but her current line is coming to a close as well (I'm thinking since this arc is about the Founders and is closing, we're going to not really see the remaining Founders much anymore, so her dad will be gone. Maury is drugged and Angela is in jail.)

Hiro's time ability keeps him in play; I don't think they're getting rid of Micah, and killing off both his parents would limit him as a character; Peter relies too much on Nathan, plus they're probably going to have to work together to figure out their parents' past and to get mom out of jail.

Barring the pictures, it's on West, Maya, Elle, etc., the new characters. Jeph Loeb, one of the producers, said: Those who are crabbing about too many newbies should be patient, because "They haven't gotten to the Dec. 3 episode, when we do our big housecleaning!"

i dont know about them teaming up. monica getting kidnapped seams to be the killer of micahs dreams and talk about being a super hero. i think hell call it quits and live in new orleans with two lost parents.

and Elle kills West: if you look in the preview on 7 or 8 seconds in, it looks like West is getting zapped. Peter could be zapping him too, but I doubt it. He has enough on his plate.

My money is on Maya and Nikki. West, even though he is annoying, could be a shoo in because of his connection with claire. Parkman still has some more stories in store for him. The petrelli brothers both faced death last season and they have already proven they deserve screen action. Hiro? He could die too. Since Peter already has his powers. But it would be a shame to lose a cool character like him.
