Alejandro, I really wanted him to develop another subpower rather than it only supressing Maya's. It was a disappointing death, both Maya and Alejandro should have died within 2 episodes.

erm... what a comment is this?
First you say you would like to see more of Alejandro by having him developing another power but after that you turn around saying that you wanted them both dead in 2 episodes?
Undecided huch?
In my opinion, I wanted rather both to stick around and do more for the main plot instead of having them get killed by sylar. I'm also sure that if they had pulled the Sylar/Candice plot they previously had, things would had turned out better storywise because Maya and Alejandro wouldn't mess with them.
They would just reach Mohinder, stick with him and help against the virus. :/
Maybe even fight against Adam.

What!? NOOOOOOO!!!
oooohh those *** writers... they didn't even give Alejandro a chance to do something really good besides supressing the black death... he should've stayed and maybe die in battle with Adam-Sylar...

i'm soooo sad.

There really wasn't any power he could do besides absorb Maya's. There isn't much you can really do with that, especially within 2 episodes. I'm just glad Sylar is back!
And it is funny, both speaking different languages and they were having an argument with each other

I mean, we all knew Alejandro was going to die. If you didn't, you have issues.
While I think they could have been used far better (confusing us and making us think Maya kills everyone, only to turn it around and say its the Shanti virus), i also could see Alejandro being the cure to the Shanti Virus...the ability to neutralize any toxin or disease, or something like that. a lame a** power, to be sure, but still....
Glad Sylar is actually evil again, as opposed to being given long-winded speeches about how evil he is, or giving dramatic "dun dun dun!" pauses. Just wish he weren't so much of a walking plot point.

im so glad sylar is back!! i think it will be so mean if he gets killed off especially when he just gets his powers back, hes hardly been used this season either. It was sad when he was talking about his mother

I say recruit Sylar for the Company. Ok, implausible, but I'd get a kick out of it.
My friend actually looked away from the screen for about 10 seconds and totally missed Sylar stabbing Alejandro... I laughed at her the rest of the night.

I am not sure Alejandro's power was to only absorb Maya's power, but it could be one possibility. Another theory is that he can disarm powers through touch, but he has only had to/learned to use it around Maya. I liked the possibilities with this power, but wanted it to be used and adapted through one of the mimics, not actually alejandro himself (I find him a worthless character).
Too bad we will never see it, assuming that Sylar didn't cut off his head and do his thing anyways which might absorb the power but just not allow it to be used still.

Seeing Maya absorb her own power made me consider that maybe Alejandro is half useless, or he can do what she can, in that he can bring on the plagues and suck em back, but he only recognizes the absorbing part...

If Maya can absorb her own power, alejandro definately has (had) the same power imo.

It might be something along the lines of The Haitian... but AliceAndro doesn't know it...
He negates Madcows ability...
Maybe he could negate other abilities too?
But we'll never know!
