Sylar's initial power was shown to be working by tickng clock sounds.

This episode we hear it a few times.

Could it be possible that somehow he has got his power back? (maybe just his initial power)

Maybe Maya' new control of her disease has something to do with it?

It's Sylar's "theme song" for lack of a better word. Similarly there's a kind of eerie electric guitar-ish (?) music that plays on a lot of Mohinder's scenes. Like when Peter finds him on the ceiling and he says "Sylar." I heard it quite a bit this past episode since I was listening for it.

Though it certainly was more pronounced than usual, to the point where my friend commented on its presence and she's new to the Heroes universe.

Does Sylar inject himself with claires blood to heal himself and get his powers back? That would be cool.

I think the one difference about the ticking in this episode (though i could be wrong...need to rewatch) is that it sounded...off.

Like, it sounded off-rhythm, clickling a little too slowly, but then sped up throughout the episdoe, until gaining a steady rhythm by the end. At least, thats what i noticed.

I'd noticed that too. Sylar's ticking has been playing in several episodes and it's slowly been getting its rhythm back. Once it's totally back to normal, I think that means his Intuitive Aptitude is working again and I'm pretty sure that'll allow him to use all his acquired abilities. Next episode, I think we're going to get the old Sylar back.

did anyone see sylar go at alejandro with his finger after he killed him? i dont know if there was a power to have from him, but it looked like he was doing his normal head opening thing after he killed him.

and i think the ticking was louder this episode.

whenever slyar murders someone or thinks about killing someone, the ticking noise is heard. i think it was louder in this episode though (IMHP)

We still don't know exactly why Sylar's powers don't work. I've kind of been assuming it's the virus - that seems a general assumption, at least around these boards. If that's so, then Claire's blood isn't sufficient to cure him; he needs Mohinder's, too.

Well I guess that wouldn't be a problem since he went and parked himself over Molly's sleeping form.

I thing it is just sound effects to make it more interesting. He'll will get his powers back next episode when Mohinder injects him with the cure meant to be for Nikki. Since in the advances it is shown that sylar and Maya are in Mohinder's apartment with molly as a hostage and mohinder is speaking on his cell with sylar.
Mohinder injects the cure, sylar kills Molly and maya....we already know from the prevews 3 heroes will die next monday....

apparently someone gets shot by sylar but mohinder saves her with the blood. i love the ticking noises, they are so creepy.

It seems that after Maya finds out that he killed her brother she goes at him so he has to shot her fast before she kills him instead. Since the scene in the preview looks like the same factory Elle is hunting him and zapping him (Canadian promo to be seen), I think that all plays there at the same time.

Not sure if its gonna happen this way so we will have to wait and see I guess.

I think the thing Sylar is counting on is even when he's revealed, Maya can't use her power to hurt him without killing Mohinder (who she went all this way to see) and Molly (innocent little girl) too. Pretty good way to restrain her.

Sylar didn't do his famous finger knife at Alejandro, but he did it with Maya.
