I can almost tell that this was a kind of joke that was written by Tim Kring or one of the other writers or producers of the show. When sylar gets his powers in the alley way, and the first thing he does is try to grab a can using his telekinesis. well if anyone noticed the can was a can of "Spinach". and he realized he got his powers back once he got the spinach can in his hand. Coincidence maybe but, i highly doubt it. (For those of you who haven't seen Popeye or simply dont get it; Popeye gets very strong when he eats spinach so when Sylar got the spinach can in his hand he realized his powers had returned.)

Yeah. LOL. This is the great writing that makes Heroes the show that it is.

What would've been funny was if the popeye theme when he "spinaches up" and begins to whup a** would've played right as Sylar got the can in his hand.


Has anyone picked up on the Slusho references in the show? Or know what i'm talking about?
