One question immediately came to mind when I saw this episode...

How does Elle know who Sylar is?

She was (apparently) kept locked away by her Dad for all her life...

the company brought him in and virused him

she would have known about it considering bob is her dad

and she was the companys number one executioner

This is all assumption of course...

He didn't lock her away all her life. she was working with the company all along. She's a nosey kid too, so she might've been through her dad's files.

- Everyone in the company actually knew who sylar is.
- In the first season they brought him in, they even wanted to kill him.
- Bob had files about him and talked about sylar with mohinder in the first few episodes of season 2
- HRG, The Haitian, Eden, Candice, Bob, Linderman, Thompson knew who sylar was, why shouldn't Elle know?

The only bad thing in this episode was that Elle didn't killed him like she were supposed to in the storyline before the writers strike.

yeh, elle knew about peter going nuke and blowing up new york so i assume she would also know about everything else concerning that whole storyline ie:sylar.

yaya i'm agree....if i know bout the explosion thing i would also know about sylar

Lots of guesswork going on eh people?

Bearing in mind that this is the first time we have seen anything concerning both Elle & Sylar, wouldn't it have been nice to have had it made it clear that she knew who he was from her work in the Company?

Rather than just expecting us to assume...

She was locked up just while she was testing?
She was their executioner, and would have had to have known what was going on.

shes been with the company all her life, so when a high profile person like Sylar comes in to get infected of course she would know who he is.

If she recognised him, it's pretty obvious she knew (of) him. We don't have to hear or see every little conversation going on in the show. I guess the writers took for granted thet we would understand this...
