What happenned to Caitlin? I mean, no matter if the virus was not released, she's still in the future, or has the alteration made her come back to the present? Why didn't Peter worry about her? Where is she? Is she trapped in some strange time or is it as if nothing had happenned? I wouldn't mind too much if she was removed from the show though.

haha it seems to me she's trapped indefinately, and that's a good thing That is unless Peter can time travel into alternate timelines, of which I think is not possible.

If you go by the string theory she now exist in the "epidemic future", since Peter changed the future he can't travel back to her anymore, since he would travel to a future where the virus never got out.

LOL!!! I must admit I also find Caitlin very annoying and quite ugly! In fact the first time I saw her I kept wondering what on earth were they thinking to choose this girl among thousands of other girls who may have been much prettier and transmit more energy. I find her dull and uninspiring! Let her stay trapped wherever she is!

yeh i found that she didnt really so anything for season 2 ... it was all a waste to have her there.... LOL

i think she had a minor importance. she just gave peter another reason to fix the future or his reaction to leaving her in the future helped him remember what he forgot.

it makes no difference imo now that Peter has to deal with his brothers situation

Yeah, it makes one wonder if she is trapped in an alternate future or in the same post-apocolyptic future? Is there a future version of her there? Will Peter and Hiro unite to jump into the future and find her?

Although...I have a feeling Hiro might be a little sore towards Peter after he threw him against a wall and electrocuted him.

You never know, they might somehow pull her from that timeline and bring her back to the current one somehow.... It would be completely unexpected. Maybe she got some sort of mutation which gave her a power or something? If that is the case I hope that mutation gives her a make-over otherwise she can stay where she is!!
