Well his brother was shot, right in front of him, and there was an assassin.
you think the writers will have Peter go BadAr$? take out the guy who did that to him?
I got a few hints they were trying to make Peter more of this "Awesome guy" instead of the "nice guy"
I'm not totally sure the actor can handle the roll in this way, the actor's BRILLIANT and being the nice guy, but I didn't get any "Jack Boer" vibes when he was throwing guys left and right in the finally I got more of a "interesting..." vibe.
I dunno I just prefer the old peter, maybe it's just me.
but which way do you guys think Peter will go in the next season?
could he pull a sudden Anti-hero and blame Matt for not stopping the guy? or pull a enraged badar$ and go after the assassin, or go back to just trying to figure out how he could help?
I dunno, you never really know with Peter.

I think he's going to try and get his revenge on the assailant (I say assailant because we don't really know if Nathan is dead). That just sounds like the direction I think Peter is going to go.

im pretty certain mr bennet shot nathan as part of his first asignment back working for the company, and if that is the case then peter will be trying to avenge nathan by killing claire's dad(foster dad)
i think season 3 is gonna have more twists and turns and not just one objective ie "the bomb!"
the younger heroes are gonna come head to head with the company...sylar is going to embark on a masacre with other villans by his side... he wants all the power he can get!

Yeah
but now Sylar knows the company injected him with the Virus.
So you never know. Sylar could join up with the heroes in order to destroy the company.
Maybe Villians is about the company and their deeds as younger people.
Or maybe the show is going to turn another way and hire chuck norris to eat everybody
or MAYBE hiro will eat a sandwich and teleport to france and play scrabble with a cricket?
wow.

if nathan dies then peter will 100% go after the assasin. if nathan dies itll do to peter what ando dying did to future hiro, he will go totally bada$$.
i would love it if hes the one to finally destroy the company

Peter could give nathan his blood and heal him tbh... lol
so i dont think nathan is gone just yet , there whould have to be a mass explosion to kill him if peter is about (eradecate ne trace of nathan )

i deffently miss super nice Peter! he didnt seem the same at all in second season... but i thought maybe it was cus he wasnt with his family and stuff! he finaly gets to his family and it ends lol!
I think Peter will want to go after the person who shot nathan... but that wont solve anything specially not save the world

He can't use the blood without Shuresh's blood mixed with Clair's, and by the time he could get it Nathan'd be long dead.
Peter was good as the badars$ in the future with the scar, he seemed able to pull off the roll then.
but this new Peter's more confused and not matured like the future version, I dunno I suppose the creators know what they're doing.

it only makes sense for the aspects of the peter character to become more badass and edgier as the series goes on. he is finally becoming able to harness and truly use his power and is becoming more and more confident in himself. the good-hearted kid you saw in Season 1 isnt going away he is just maturing and with that maturation comes more confidence in himself. the characters and show would grow stale if everyone just stayed exactly the same from point a to point z. peter, matt, claire, hiro, and everyone else has changed drastically from the pilot to now, and that is def. the way it should and has to be...
oh, and do i think peter's arch for next season will be revenge... yes

The way Peter acted in Season One's "Five Years Later" looked like he was kind of evil.
I think Peter would take revenge.....and maybe go towards the dark side a bit.

When he will stop acting as an idiot, then probably he can try to find the assassin. But I think it wold be better with Nathan around because Peter could easily fall to "dark side" and never get back. He is totally lost without Nathan and I doubt this will suddenly change over night.
Or maybe Company might kidnap Nathan and tell Peter that he is dead. It would be certainly interesting storyline. They would switch places again. Nathan tried to find Peter and didnīt believe he is dead in S2. Now, it could be different, Peter trying to find Nathan.

The Peter we saw in ''Five Years Later'' (FYL) cannot be used as a reference as to how Peter will turn out because the Peter in FYL is the one AFTER the bomb blew up NYC... And remember that they stopped the bomb blowing up NYC so the Peter in FYL doesn't now exist... and never will...
He also had a scar remember...

agreed

, anything that happened in five years gone isnt really gonna happen anymore but certain things the writers must of put in five years gone bcoz it would actually happen someday

Actually how do we know the bomb won't go off someday. It's not five years into the future from S1 yet...there's still time for someone to go nuclear and blow up NYC

it all goes down to one thing in heroes - nothing is

i agree totally. Just because Nathan stopped Peter blowing up New York once does not mean Peter carn't blow up again does it? Has he suddenly realised how to control his nuclear power right out of the blue? and even if he has Sylar still has that power so he could do exactly the same; the threat of season one still remains which really annoys me when i think about it.
As for Volume 3 "Villains" i think all the heroes are going to be tested more; the name "Villains" could be symbolic of our heroes being tested in the sense of right and wrong; how far is Peter willing to go for revenge? In doing so will he himself become a Villain? The name could suggest more than the obvious idea of more bad guys being introduced.

I know this is an old topic and all but I do think Peter will try to get revenge on the shooter. Since Nathan appears to not be dead from the latest spoiler, he should be able to have control. He will just be a little more darker this Volume. I'd love it if Peter had the Future Peter look in Volume 3, if you hadn't noticed his character is slowly becoming is future self without the whole bombe thing, if his hair looked that way too it would just increase more.

Of course. I would do that if I was Nathan's brother.
