Yea, it sure does look like Jamie Hector. They hide info very well, I can't find any spoiler or news that says Jamie Hector will appear in Heroes.

Well, I've been hearing a lot of rumors about his powers, specifically the abilities of superspeed and heart removal. But, I really don't think his power would be heart removal, because that power is really similar to D.L. and people are already mistaking him for D.L., so that would be a little odd and I think the crew could think of a better idea. Superspeed would be a good power to finally introduce in the show though, but I really can't see well enough to tell when or if he actually uses it in the clips.

However, I have my own theory of his powers. If you look at his hand, you can vaguely make out a shiny tint to it. People say this is blood [from ripping out the man's heart] because of the lighting, but if you watch closely, it doesn't just turn red, but also blue, and then red again. This may be from the refection of the police lights on his metallic hand. My speculation is he has the ability to transform his body into steel or iron, just like Colossus from X-men. But I could be very wrong...

And I also heard this guy's name is Knox too, and he lives in New Orleans, so hopefully his storyline will be nicely intertwined with Micah and Monica.

You're reasoning that "heart removal" cannot be his power because it is too disturbing for kids. Are you serious?

Nikki is an ex-stripper and has pole-danced on screen before. She's even had sex with Nathan and the tape was briefly shown. Claire has almost been raped. Alcoholism is a disease that characters have suffered. How many heads has Sylar decapitated on screen? CLEARLY, the writers have shown things more disturbing to kids than basic heart removal.

Haha, I agree with you. Heroes wasn't really meant for kids in the first place. They won't understand the morally grey ideas in it... everything is mostly black and white to children.

It could be possible that the arm is prosthetic. I mean, if your arm is made of steel, and you can run as as fast as a car, you can rip out a heart easy.

Have you guys been on the Yamagato Fellowship site? They have a collection of mythical heroes there. One of them is Kensei. The others include Thor, Beowulf, Gawain, Jason, Crazy Horse (Lakota Native American). It is possible that they are the new "villains", following in Kensei's footsteps, you know?

Then again, they were all heroes, and also ancient stories (except for Crazy Horse). What would make them villains?

i think he can transform himself into metal. but not as much like collossus more like he can turn his arm into a sword or other objects, could explain why matt had his throat slit.
and i wouldnt doubt super speed seeing as there was a vote on the heroes
section of the nbc site of what you want the new hero to do. and the choices were all to do with
speed.

the whole morphing his hand into a blade would explain why his arm was inside of the man. and also why there was a shimmer.

If the speed power is molecule related, it could be possible that he can maybe create molecular friction/heat that would make putting his hand through someone's chest like a hot knife through butter.

so kids arent going to be influenced by the cocaine snorting that nikki does in volume 2 and by all the heroin use in vol 1. lol. so ripping out someones heart aint gonna be a big deal. but it does sound like a s*** power.

Just to point something out. If he has the ability to move his body at insanely fast speeds. Not just RUN at fast speeds. He could generate a lot of force behind his blows. That could potentially be enough for his fist to penetrate a human body.

thats Benjamin Knox, i think he will be the 'liquid man' not sure, but he has the power of self-liquification.

I don't think he's going to be able to turn himself into animals but i've got 2 admit the power to turn his arm to a sword or if he can turn totaly metal sounds really cool

Due to some previous screenies it looked as if his power is similar to colossus from the xmen universe.
We already know that he were supposed to be the main villain and nemesis of monica in volume 3 before. Not sure if they changed things now though.
