What was Changed During Volume 2:
NOTE: These changes occurred for various reasons
1) Kristen Bell was originally suppose to be in 8 episodes and then killed off but due to fan support they are keeping her around for a bit longer
2) Elle was setup as a Bob’s step daughter and the daughter of Meredith which in turn would have been Claire’s SISTER but they dropped it due to lack of storyline and plot holes.
3) Stephen Tobolowsky (Bob) also had a slightly different story, he was supposed to be more evil then he is now and even recruited his SON WEST to make Claire turn against her father this was dropped early in Volume 2 for “various reasons”.
Wow, so Claire was going to be Elle’s sister as Kristen Bell almost leaked when she was signed on to the cast and I never saw that West would be Bob’s Son, but it did feel like he was sent to watch Claire early on. Also, it did feel like Bob was planned to be this big EVIL character and then they backed off.
Ok now for what many of you want to know….the current direction for Vol. 3…please keep in mind nothing has been written and all of this is the “current” plan the writers have for the show. There is plenty of things that can change between now and well….whenever the show returns.

1.of course ali will return theyll have to show her death from her point of view in a kinda four months ago episode.
2.dont like micah, noah cabeys a good child actor but micahs story lowers the action.
3.Theres no chance of leaving a character like him out hes good.
4.Lets all hope so!.

I think Sylar should kill Micah because his stories are just boring and lack any action!

Yep i agree 100%. Its not that the kids a bad actor or anything just the character could have been made differently. I think the power will get put to good use once Peter or Sylar get it; which hopefully they will.

I admit, Gabriel has pretty much owned Brian in the TK-usage department but he keeps getting these new powers that he craves so much but hardly uses them. I also admit that this is more the case for Peter like when he used TK instead of phasing on the vault but it happens with Gabriel, too. The only other power Gabriel has used quite well is superhearing in the last two eps and possibly precognition, too.
ye but sylar knows which power is best and when. also we havent seen what he can do with some of the powers because most of them he got late on in season 1 and he couldnt use them in vol. 2 ovbiously

At kirby plaza peter absorbed nikki/jessica's power. He also absorbed DL's, Micah and Molly were around DL wich means Peter absorbed their powers too.
Well from that leaked footage it looked to me like Elle was about to get Sylared all ova da place, sadly! Hopefully she will find a way out though but Syalr has seen what Elle can do and no doubt he would want that power badly.

If he did absorb them, it doesn't necessarily mean that he knows how to use them
As far as using powers better than their original owners. Statistically its more likely that the previous owners would be better as they only have one gift to focus on. However Sylars method does innately make sense that he would be skilled with the powers simply because he learns them by studying HOW they work. So I guess its quite feasible that Sylar could be better with an ability than the person he took it from was.
The issue I see with it is just the mere fact that the longer you lived with a power, and the more you had to rely on only ONE ability. The higher the variety of applications you would come up with.
I mean, take Iceman from X-Men for example. Most people don't think of the fact that he can essentially fly with his ability by freezing moisture in the air under his feet and sliding along it. The longer you have a power the more creative ways your going to come up with to exploit it. And if your riddled with numerous powers you'll be neglecting all of them in a way.

We must remember that peter is still coming to terms with his powers, as when he started to practise at the end of season one and then lost his memory for most of season 2.
It is clear to me that peter is the no1 hero and Sylar the no1 vilain and another (final) showdown between those two is inevitable. The fact that peter doesn't use his powers well indicates that the show will gradually see peter 'coming of age,' learning how to use (where he is at) and master the abilities he acquires in order to catch up with sylar for the final battle.
Also we don't know the exact nature of his peters power, can he only acquire abilities when people use them in his presence, or is merely being in anothers presence enough to acquire the ability. Finally is peter able the develop the powers he acquires like the original possessor (i.e matts ability to put ideas in peoples heads) or does he only acquire the particular aspect of the power that is used when he acquires the power.

Peter automatically "copy"/absorbs the power of a holder when the holder is in range so peter doesn't even nessecarily notice that he aquired a new power before the power "showed" itself or he came in a situation in which he used it by "mistake" or through a feeling that makes him mimic it.
The power holder doesn't have to use his/her power for peter to absorb it.
the only problem with leveling up peter/sylar is that they will become gods (as if they aren't already *coughfangirlscough*)
if they got any stronger, it would just be about them, and the other become unnecessary

Yeah the power doesn't have to be used for Peter to get it. Like with Ted's radiation power, Peter got it when he was talking to Noah. Also with DL's phasing power, he didn't use thatr near him.

I hope not i like ando and we don't want funny hero turn into serious (even though he is badass) do we.
They've gt 2 kill niki off because they said they were killing 2 heroes off in season 2 finale trailer and we know that peter suvives acording to everyone else so i think that niki will die or if she doesn't then Jessica (or one of her other personality will take over and save her) the shanty virus is in nikkies blood not jessicas or if it's just a normal split personaily then they both have it.
