If there is a topic on this already, I'm sorry. I tried to see where it was by skimming over the other topics.

I just finished watching this episode and I'm confused on something...

Sylar is pretending to be Nathan through the illusion power. Ok, fine. He still craves other powers as he kills future Claire. My question is...Why didn't he take Hiro's power!? He had Hiro captured and subdued and he wants future Mohinder to kill him!? That doesn't really make any sense. I can't believe a guy like Sylar wouldn't want Hiro's power.

I don't really consider it a plot hole or anything. I was just curious as to what others thought about that. My only guess is maybe he thought it would screw up time by killing past Hiro. I'm not really sure...

Yeah, that's really the only thing that kind of makes sense. He wasn't ready to reveal himself and didn't want to risk exposure.

Hang on. If Gabriel has the Illusion power, then he could have put a fake Nathan/Gabriel in the whitehouse or wherever and he could have slipped off invisibly to Hiro and took his power, then make it look like Hiro's still alive and then get Mohinder to re-kill him and restore the illusions to normality except for the Nathanness and no-one would be the wiser.

Damnit Carp you're right! laugh.gif

Sylar just got kind of stupid on that one I guess...
