Is it gone for good?
cause the future could still happen, just because Peter destroyed it, doesn't mean that people can't still get it.
It'll just take longer to spread.
Perhaps they avoided the threat until Season 4 *winks to the writers*

Also, how does the virus spread?
Is it like an STD, transferred through needles and er...bodily fluids?
or is it like the flu, where it's just *cough*...oops you're infected.

I don't know about how it can spread, but even if the virus has affected someone, they now know the cure for it- claire's blood.(or even adam's blood).
But i think a person is affected by the virus because of abnormality in evolving. or there is some defect which is caused in the brain, which makes the person unable to use their powers and eventually it would lead to death.
i am still very curious to now more about the virus, and hope to see what will happen in the future(now that the virus is destroyed and caitlin left behind there)

The virus spreads by the air just like the flu does thats why caitalin and peter had to be sprayed with water or hat ever it was when they first get to the future.


As we find out their are different strains of the blood so claires blood alown isn't always goin to be the answer to the problem because the virus will eventualy evolve and get imune to the blood.

I forgot about Caitalin..I wonder if they'll still have her in an alternate (non-virus infected) future
or will they just sorta forget about her in season 3
