This is what i have read:

Yes, according to actress Eriko Tamura, who plays the Japanese character Yaeko, Hiro’s love interest from Feudal Japan, and who apparently hasn’t yet learned the TV game of “teasing”, which every Heroes actor has done when asked about Heroes Season 3. Tamura also tells Sci Fi Wire that her character won’t only return for Season 3, but she’ll be transported to the present day! Or at least, that was the plan before the Writer’s Strike. Tamura, who is also shooting the live-action “Dragonball” movie (read more details here), still expects to return for Season 3 and continue her character’s arc.

Tamura said that her character, [Yaeko], was supposed to be transported to the present in episodes that were scripted but not finished before the writers’ strike commenced last fall. “I am going to be in the present, yes,” Tamura said in an interview.

“I actually had a few episodes of the script then,” Tamura said, adding: “Suddenly, the strike happened, so we had to stop the shooting.”

Tamura added that she expects to return to the show for the upcoming third season, which begins production in May.

To be honest whats the point in having her back and if she does get teleported by who the obvious choose is hiro but he wouldn't be that stupid i don't think thats she's coming back it's to puddled.

I have a feeling that if she is back, now adam will have a new motive to be bad, i.e. he wants yaeko back and to get her back he is going to go after hiro. but there are some spoilers that say that adam will have his new wife coming and i'm sure she'll rescue adam, so i can't be sure.
but on the bright side if yaeko is back, poor unfortunate Hiro can finally have a girlfriend!

maybe adam in the past gives her some of his blood so she lives forever

you know adam's blood's effects are not permanent, if u read the graphic novel 10 brides of takezo kensai, he injects his blood in one of his wives and she dies a peaceful death 20 yrs later.

I liked her as well but I'm kind of curious to see what she'll do, because honestly I'm not seeing the point of having her in season 3, but I hope I get to be surprised !

The blood's effects are not permanent as stated in the novel and also in the show, so far it has been given to a few people with no mention of it making em live longer nor gaining the ability to regenerate. I believe blood gets used up after a while.

So far there are only two possibilities of who would transport her into the "future" Hiro and Peter. Peter has no motivation to do so and Hiro, well frankly I doubt he is so keen on messing up the timeline anymore.

No point in Bringing her back. I could imagine it and it would only make the story weak.

Although, isn't she supposed to live on in feudal Japan and spread the stories of Takezo Kensei (Hiro)? If she leaves her time via time travel, that won't happen right?

Although she might be immortal or something like Adam.

Maybe if she's brought in as part of someone else's story instead of Hiro's I might be interested in seeing that.

I agree with you. Who knows what can be done with the character? It's too early to say she won't be worth watching in Volume 3. Although, I have to admit the way it ended with her in Volume 2 was pretty dramatic.

Ya thats true, i would love to see what actually happened to her when she was left behind by Hiro. it would be fun if a person from the past comes to the future. o and speaking about time zones i wonder what happens to Caitlin, whos now stuck in an alternative future lol i wish she's stuck there forever, she was so irritating!

Ugh, this sounds ridiculous and unnecessary. Her part of the story came to a nice, satisfying conclusion, why would they drag it back out? Hopefully she's just got a walk-on part for one or two episodes, maybe involving Hiro trying to figure what to do about Adam.

If she comes back, I hope it's not Hiro, Peter, or some new chronokinetic character screwing with the time line. I think it'd be funny if it was something random like her running into a cryokinetic nutjob that randomly freezes her, and she gets to the present Futurama style
