Heroes isn't just about the big heroics, but also about the small things that make you smile, things that round off the characters and make them more believable as people, or just small little scenes that were well written and well done, little extras added, funny lines etc.

Here's my top five!

5. Peter telling Simone where he keeps his mugs - in a cupboard with a water stain that looks like Abraham Lincoln.

4. Nathan and Matt touching down in front of Primatech paper, Nathan rubbing his aching back, and Matt saying, "Okay... we'll never mention this again."

3. Sylar killing a cheerleader in Odessa, Texas and then finding the time to step into a souvenir shop to pick up a snow globe for his mother.

2. Peter threatening to crash the Petrelli family brunch by flying off the terrace, suggesting a race around the Statue of Liberty to a petrified Nathan.

And my #1 of small moments:

1. Maya, in Mohinder's apartment, wearing an apron saying "Worlds Greatest Dad", which obviously belongs to either Matt or Mohinder, and I'm damned if I know which! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Oh yes, the classic potpie quote. I loved that one as well.

Dudes, I love it when Claire throws stuff at Nathans car in season 1.

In 'The Hard Part', when Sylar has already told his mother off for making him a tuna sandwich, but when it cuts back to the scene there's a half-eaten one in front of him.

Ted saying to Matt: "I'm not gonna nuke the dog!"

Matt saying to Bennet: "I'm 2000 miles from my pregnant wife. He's a bad guy, and I'm a cop." Hell yeah! Go Matt!

When you realize Sylar's mother is a little bit on the religious side, then the quick scene waaay back in Season 1 with Gabriel's "FORGIVE ME FOR I HAVE SINNED" closet makes a lot more sense.

Peter saying to Mohinder: "Have you ever thought you were meant for something else? Something greater than you are?" Mohinder: "Perhaps you've noticed I'm driving a cab."

Hiro to Nathan: "When I first met you, I thought you didn't care. Now I know. You care too much." Sums up Hiro's insight and Nathan's character to a T. Makes me smile. smile.gif

Thompson and the Graham Greene book. I love Graham Greene!

Every time I see a painting by Issac and then spot it in real life on the show, it gives me chills.
