Was Matt listenning to Jessica's mind when she was arguing with Niki? If so, then that would mean Jessica was seeing things...hmm she's going even more crazy lol

I still suspect that Jessica and Niki are two seperate people now.

One thing in that clip that leads me to think Kring HAS decided to "split" them apart - literally is the dialogue in the stairwell:

N - "You cant do this!"

J - "I have to - somebody's gotta repay Linderman"

N - "You made the deal to get me out of jail?"

J - "I couldn't leave it up to you now, could I?"

Question: How on Earth could Niki/Jessica make a deal with Linderman... locked in the Isolation/Looney Room?

It most def had to be "Jessica" outside of the jail that went to make a deal with Linderman... thus they ARE two seperate people now.

i thought that was cool when she was confused on how matt heard niki haha, loved it

I thought that the scene in the stairs was very interesting. Before now whenever we have seen Niki ans Jessica talking it has to be in a reflective surface. At the top of the staircase you see Niki and Jessica at the same time with Niki in the mirror telling Jessica to stop.

Then down at the next floor Jessica looks in the mirror and only sees her reflection. She looks back up the stairs and sees Niki talking to her from above. This is not a reflective surface and so i think that Niki and Jessica are different people. I also think that Matt didnt hear there thoughts but them as different people.

Please let me know what you think of this.

I have attached some screen pics to illustrate this aswell.

P.s. i hope that this isnt a repost of what somelse has said. smile.gif
got milo?
mhmm, im pretty sure Matt just didnt hear their thoughts too. And yeah, i think that in that scene Jessica and Niki were two different people.. obviously Jessica is the "stronger" half of the two, but i think that since worse was just coming to worse, Niki found a way out of there and became her own person again. But of course Jessica went to go kill off her prey leaving Niki helpless again.

oh jessica.

Wrong, Niki runs after Jessica in the forest quite many episodes before. Niki and Jessica see each other as separate bodies, but they're not separate bodies (and what bodies!), at least not yet.

Good point, episode 11 i believe. That suggests that matt must have been reading her (their) minds. It must have freaked Jess out when matt told her he heard them ohmy.gif .

I love this show and I've been waiting for something this good to come onto T.V. for a long time. With that said I just want the whole Nikki/Jessica storyline to die. I liked where it was going at first, and I may even like where it ends up, but I'm just sick of her whole storyline at the moment.

I know I'm going to get bombarded for saying this, but I do realize that there is still a huge amount that we don't know about every character. I just think that they are focusing too much on her and not enough on the plan of stopping New York from becoming a nuclear wasteland and the other characters.

Granted maybe it's because they only have an hour (when we all know that it should be at least 2 hours every week) I don't know it's just become more than aggravating to me at this point to focus on her so much. I've loved every episode in whole though, but there's just something about her that really gets under my skin.

Looking forward to next week's episode though...it should be great!!

Hopefully someone will agree with me on this one. If not, that's ok we'll all keep watching this awesome show anyway regardless! biggrin.gif

I'm actually a Niki/Jessica fan and really like her storyline, and I hope she sticks around for a long time, but I know you're not alone on this. I notice a lot of people hate Niki and keep saying "zomgz, she needz to die!@!@!@?!" but I'm glad you said it in a mature manner. Even though I do agree that Niki's storyline was kind of running in circles, this episode was a big kick in the arse for it! Before she joins up with anybody in saving the world, she really needs to pick up the pieces of her life first, which she is slowly starting to do. She either has to make peace with Jessica or just take matters into her own hands and not let Jessica push her around (although, the trouble Jessica gets into is really amusing wink.gif)I'm actually kind of glad they're not making them suddenly meet up, I like that they're making them meet up in a more practical and realistic fashion, because then the show will end up turning into its comparatives (X-Men, Justice League, etc.) It'll take time, but they're all going to meet up eventually!

I don't think she gets that much more screen time, but she does appear frequently. It could be foreshadowing that she's going play an important role later on in the central plot...

I suppose you are right Aerdna. I wouldn't want them to meet up all at once either. That would be bad.
I wouldn't go so far I guess as to say that I want her to die. I would just like them to start wrapping up her storyline so we can get to some of the other characters a little more.

I guess she has been getting more frequent lately, and you're probably right in the fact that they are building her character for something much more important in the future of the program. It is amusing as you said when she switches between the two, and I did like this past week's episode.

In short, I agree with your points whole-heartedly, and all I really would like to see I guess it would be nice if she could just get her life straightened out. If she could find a way to combine the two...WHOA! That would be great!!!

Anyway, thanks for not bashing me too bad biggrin.gif Just kidding you had really great points.

I saw Niki on the stairs but I didn't notice the deal with the mirrow......good catch! That's cool. Yes, it was interesting when Matt told Jessica that he heard them, Jessica was very surprised, "You heard Niki?" Maybe this shows us that Niki is getting stronger. I hope so. Jessica makes a great bad gal but I really hope that Niki wins out. I hope for a good family reunion with DL and Micah. Also I would like to see Niki be able to use that super strength for good! biggrin.gif

I don't think that anyone other than Matt would have been able to hear Niki in the staircase. Niki and Jessica are both in the same body, however when they talk or argue they see each other as seperate beings. Due to Matt's power when Jessica and Niki were arguing mentally he was able to hear them both and misinterpret that as there being two people instead of just one. Just my thoughts on the matter
heromaxine
I really hope that we get to see Niki get stronger and take over and then she could reconcile with DL and Micah. But I don't know if the story line is going to go there. I wanted to see Niki use that super strength for good to help the other heroes save the world.

I am afraid that Jessica is going to get killed but I don't want Niki to die with her. The episode at the end showed Linderman had sent her a picture of Nathan. Why would Linderman want Nathan killed at this point before the election? He gave him money to finance his campaign I presumed so he would have Nathan in his pocket while in the Senate. So why kill him? Jessica seems to be a pretty good assassin for Linderman but we know she has to be stopped. Surely we can not have one of our main heroes be killed off now, can we. After all, Claire has to go find her bio dad. Hiro went to the future and said that Nathan wins. So how can Nathan be killed. So surely that means that Jessica will either be killed or captured again.

Well, we already know that she in fact stopped as Nathan does win the election later in the future.
Whether Jessica comes through at the last minute or she is killed, we'll just have to wait and see.
I don't think she will be killed though.

Personally, I really enjoy the Niki storyline, moreso than a lot of the other characters.
It's up there with Peters for me.
shauku77
actually there's a simple explanation for Nikki's air-time.

there's two of her.

anyway, i think the story needs to get her side of the...uh...story done and over with now or risk having too many flashback later. i think.
but i'm ok with her story so far, although i must admit, i want her to do more than just rip guys in two. maybe throw a car or two would be nice. smile.gif
Tazorak
Yeah i agree with geterdone, I do get tired of the Niki/Jessica storyline, but it will probably build up to something big, where somehow the all meet up in new york. Jessica is there because she was sent to assassinate Nathan, Claire might go there to find her dad, but the others i dont know yet. but i guess the will show us all later, if the do all meet up in new york.

I also notice on Run, when Jessica was going after Malsky and Matt, She was talking to Niki and when she looked in the mirror number thing the second time she couldnt find niki, but she was higher up in the stairwell talking to her, jessica stopped and had a weird look on her face that i never saw, it was like she was almost about to feel bad, but she kept going anyway. watch it, its about 22:00 into the episode.

My theory is that Jessica want to get everything straight in Niki's life before she lets Niki take control, like have money and have all their debt with linderman gone.
Tazorak
yeah it was a good episode, but i think the next one will be even better! I am so addicted to this show. I have never been more obsessed with one like this. yeah i liked 24, but this show is so much better, and i even love the forum where we can all talk about the show and theorize. Did you notice during the scene where niki and jessica were like two separate entities and niki was yelling at jessica to stop, jessica kinda looked down and thought about what she was doing for a second. you should watch it again and you'll know what i'm talking about. its at timefram 22:10 check it out. and also notice when she looked in the mirror the second time she was looking for nikki. interesting stuff.

I just rewatched that scene and I think that Jessica was just surprised to not see Niki in the mirror since she usually is. I don't think that Jessica can feel bad, but I have no idea. You might be right on the whole Jessica fixing up Niki's life since it seemed that when Jessica was actually her own person she would always protect her little sister, Niki and that might still be why she's taken over

yeah, i think she was surprised too. remember that Nikki was trapped in the mirror since they(?) was released from prison. so seeing her outside the mirror startled Jessica for a second.

i think Nikki will have to grow into a stronger character and take control of her life before she can suppress Jessica and maybe call her up on demand later rather than just having her problems solved. since nobody will entirely wipe their problems away. i think Jessica is here to stay but under control.

I agree that Niki will have to grow stronger if she wants to take back control of her life, however I'm not sure how long Jessica will be here to stay for

I totally agree with you!!! I HATE THE WHOLE STORYLINE WITH THEM!!! I like Nikki, but The whole split dual personality is really throwing me off!!!

I don't like dual personalities, and think Ali Larter is a good actress, but no one is good at acting out TWO PARTS!!! AT ONE TIME!!! She is Nikki, and Jessica... I HATE THE SPLIT PERSONALITY THING!!! angry.gif

I fast forward through her scenes... on my tivo... after I record it... tongue.gif

Could be cause Niki was able to make the mirror move in (c.14,p.6,s.4) OR it's just that is the way N/J see each other and it's the Special F/X of their power Nothing more.
