HEY EVERYONE!
What's going on? I'm Adam, and I am the Visual Effects Supervisor on a new fan series called, "VILLAINS." My good friends and I have gathered together to bring something fresh, new and entertaining to "HEROES" fans while the show is on a major hiatus.
Our series has nothing to do with Volume Three: "Villains," the name was purely coincidental. In fact, we had decide to use "Villains" as the title even before the Volume Two finale aired. Our story starts approximately one month prior to Volume One: "Genesis."
Synopsis:
"A group of random individuals are discovering that they have extraordinary super human abilities. These individuals follow a dark path, fueled by man’s desire and greed for power and wealth. Instead of becoming heroes, they will use their powers for evil and become a part of something much larger than they would have ever imagined. The mysterious company will go to all measures to be sure these people do ruin their own personal plans."
We will be making a full volumes worth of chapters. We are aiming at approximately 20-24 chapters. For Chapter One: "Origins," we split it into 3 episodes, Part 1 - 3. Part 1 introduces two characters, the first of which is Reid Krager. Reid is an everyday office worker who has always been a wall flower in life. His power changes his life and helps him get the things that he has always dreamed of.
What's his power? I can't tell you...
Then we go from Reid in San Diego, CA to Los Angeles where we meet Dane Barret a single father who is down on his luck. Given an unstoppable power which allows him to turn his luck around and seek revenge on those who brought him to where he is now.
I'm not telling you his power either.
We're doing this show just to keep ourselves occupied and most importantly... Have fun! We've got a great cast. We've got 2 "Pirates of the Caribbean" alumnis, a Jack Sparrow impersonator and Elvira herself in our show.
If you don't get what I just meant by that... Here's the rundown:
Paul Champy plays the dreamer in our show. Paul was featured in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" as one of the Sao-Feng warriors and has appeared in "Entourage."
Mark Kramer's plays a dark character that comes in later on in the season. He was in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl" as Ragetti's body double.
April Wahlin plays Naomi Metzger and was featured on Fox's reality show, "The Search for the Next Elvira" and WON!
Finally, our number 1 connection to NBC's "Heroes" is actor Brandon Hillock. If the name sounds slightly familiar, he played Deputy Sacks on the hit series "Veronica Mars" with "Heroes" actress Kristin Bell. Being a good friend of Kristin's, he told her about "Villains" and apparently she watched our first episode already. Nerve racking for us to have anyone affiliated with the real show watching us. HAHA.
We currently have Part 1 of "Origins" on the internet. Part 2 debuts on Friday, April 4th. We are in the middle of principal photography on Part 3, which debuts June 6th and in pre-production on Chapter Two: "Morally Gray" which comes out in August.
I really hope that you "HEROES" fans enjoy our show and are entertained and interested in what we have in store for you all. We'll be showcasing a lot of new powers that haven't been used in the show and showcasing some already used.
