Heroes Season 3 (Vol. 3) Begins Sept. 15th

Today NBC announced it's official 2008-2009 TV Schedule and Season 3 (Volume 3) Heroes will return on September 15th with a 3-Hour Event with a one hour clip (most likely recap) show followed by a two hour Season Premiere...!!

The show is scheduled to take a mini break during winter and then return after the 2009 Super Bowl.

Usually, the first Sunday in February. 2 hours of Heroes? It better be a kick-a** 2 hrs!

So we will have to wait until February with the second half? Ouch!

Two-hours premiere, omg, I can´t wait. There are lots of things that have to be resolved and to see it in a movie-lenght will be awesome.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, two-hour episodes can tend to drag. But I suppose Heroes' "jump around between a whole ton of stories" feel would lend itself a lot better to the format than some other shows. Here's to an awesome return!

Heroes returning with a movie-lenght episode on September 15th has gotta be the best early birthday present for ages. Makes up for the sad reality of growing old.

I wonder if that clip show they were talking about is going to be a clip show in a traditional sense, with a frame story consisting of new material and boosted by clips from the two earlier seasons, or is it made entirely of recycled material.

And the webisodes in July... just wow.
