A reminder for fans in the UK, remember to watch the British Academy Television Awards, Sunday April 20th on BBC1 and see if "Heroes" wins the International Television Award!

There to support the show and present an award is Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli) and Adrian Pasdar (Nathan Petrelli).

Fantastic, can't wait for the Baftas tonight. Heroes has to win.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Heroes, but I got this nasty feeling that Californication is gonna win the category. Hopefully I'm proven completely wrong.

Congratulations Heroes! biggrin.gif

There's a interview with Milo, Adrian and Tim Kring on the front page.

I'm definitely surprised, but in the most positive meaning of the word. smile.gif This goes to show that British folks have exceptionally good taste.

Congratulations to the Team Heroes!

Beat me to it!

Heroes triumphed in the category of Best International programme at last night's television BAFTAs.

Heroes was up against Family Guy, My Name Is Earl and Californication. The award was presented by Neighbours and Ugly Better actor Alan Dale.

In accepting the award alongside Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli) and Adrian Pasdar (Nathan Petrelli), creator Tim Kring said he always wanted Hereos to have 'international appeal'. Ventimiglia and Pasdar also presented the award for Best Single Drama.

The BAFTAs are voted for by members of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

I was a bit hyper while watching the baftas. I seen a pomotional pic in a newspaper with a pic of Claire Bennet and i was like oh cool Heroes will be on it, i'll watch it. But it bored me so i started playing with my phone then my dad nudged me and said look and then Graham Norton said "all the way from America the Petrelli brothers" and my face lit up like sooo much. i was practically screaming and shouting THERES MILO AHHHHHH. i thought it was the best thing ever lol im really weird. Then i went into school the day after and shouted "OMG WHO SAW THE BAFTAS???" then about 10 people ran up to me saying Milo is doing an interview for this morning in about 2 hours, so i was straight on the phone to my mum and was like mummy, milo ventimiglia is on the tv later could you record it? in the sweetest voice ever, twas quite the funny lol THEN he was on the radio this morning, this is definetley the best few days of my life!!

Reading that over i've just realised how much of a twat i am cool.gif biggrin.gif

Adrian looks hot at the pictures. biggrin.gif I am so glad that Petrellis are finally back. Hehe, Milo said that he will do some things people wonīt like. I am sure he will, at least for me, because in S2, I really had problems with Peter and his attitude. I hope they will change this.
And Adrian...itīs so great he will be back. I donīt like Peter that much, but with Nathan, they are just great together. And Milo with Adrian are perfect. If someone told me they are brothers, I would believe him. biggrin.gif
I am glad Heroes won BAFTA and I am happy that those two presented it, itīs very symbolic.

Now I have to hope that Heroes will get also here soon sad.gif

Mrs. Lauren Ventimiglia: The best few days of your life? Girl, you probably didnīt have that long life, yet, did you? biggrin.gif
Klenotka
I meant that they presented HEROES, not the award.
I meant that Milo and Adrian were there as actors from Heroes, that their presence there is symbolic, not the award.
And yeah, say it aloud is interesting biggrin.gif

Represented Heroes you mean.

Yeah, I thought it was very apt that they were both there, expecially as we're officially only up to the end of Season 1 in the UK
Klenotka
Represented, yes. *hides*-biggrin.gif (non-native English speaker here wink.gif )

In our TV is also 1. season, but I somehow doubt that Adrian with Milo would come here biggrin.gif (to the Czech Republic)
