Volume 3: Villains is part 1 of Season 3 and it has been confirmed for 13 episodes.

Here are some other details I just posted full details on my blog for the coming season and here are some....

Season 3 and Villains Details

Adam Armus and Kay Foster gave us some clues and interesting details about the season 3.

* Heroes Season 3 will have 25 episodes.
* Volume 3 Villains will have 13 episodes, which will be released in one go.
* Season 3 will return to the model of Season 1. The only difference is that Season 3 will start with much faster pace.
* Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh) is thrilled by what awaits his character this season.
* Angela’s power will be revealed and her role will be very important
* Our Heroes will have to save the world at least in two occasions this season.
* We should learn more about evolution of powers.

25 episodes and no hiatus before 13th episode? That's wonderful news.

*sigh* At the same time this makes me feel annoyed that I can't just time-travel to September and see the episodes already. Suspension kills.

Angela! Angela! Angela!

I'm soooo excited and very happy to get the chance to see more scenes filled with the awesomeness of Christine Roses acting!

Most of all the fact that the first 13 episodes being villains only confirms that she survives volume 1 of season 3 for sure! biggrin.gif

The reason I'm saying that is because it was spoiled long ago that she will reveal most of the secrets around her between the middle and the end season 3.

I just keep my fingers crossed in the hope that she will survive the whole season and more seasons to come cause she is one of the most interesting and well written characters in my book. ^^

Her acting on the top of that is an Eye Candy compared to some others in the show. tongue.gif

The evolution of powers sounds great, too. Now, when most of the heroes are not afraid to use their powers, is the highest time to develop them.

Angela - great, it looks like all Petrellis will have a big role.

Why do I feel like I have heard all of this before? I mean I know season two didn't finish and all, but all this info seems repetitive.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I just feel that the writers aren't taking into consideration how season two sucked and trying to change the show for season three. It seems as if they are still going on with the plans that they intended to in the first place.

Adrian just revealed a rather large spoiler at the BAFTA awards in London. He said that Angele is the mother of three very powerful individuals...........

So am I safe in assuming that if we didn't have the writers strike then volume 3 wouldn't be Villians, but instead Villians would have just been part of season 2?

I think it would have taken a bit longer to get to where they are now (different plot lines maybe?) but effectively I think they always planned for season three to be "Villians".

Although it could be very possible that if the strike hadn't occurred then Season 2 would have incorporated Villians, but I don't think so personally. Most of it just became too rushed they were trying to find a place where they could end it. At least thats what I think.

Originally, Season 2 was to span three volumes: Vol. 2 (Generations), Vol. 3 (Exodus) and Vol. 4. (Villains) "Exodus" was going to deal with the release of the Shanti virus, but due to the writers' strike and Kring and Co. actually listening to complaints from the fans, Exodus was scrapped and "Villains" was moved up to begin Season 3.

So orginally, Season 3 was to begin with Vol. 5 but because of the extenuating circumstances from the strike some things had to change. In my opinion I think the strike was a good thing because it sounds as though the writers have gotten to a point of Season 1 greatness according to what everyone interviewed has been saying.

It could mean that there's two other kids and Nathan isn't included in the three powerful individuals.
Although I hope he is so we can see him do something else.
Archis
i guess he will...i think all the other characters' abilities will evolve too....though excited to see what Nathan could do more....
