Just a little topic to find out if i am the only one who wants Ando to have a power of some sort. In my opinion i think it would be really cool because not only would it be a way to keep Ando in the storyline for a little while longer but i dont think all the attention should be based on Hiro. Dont get me wrong i think Hiro's a legend but i think Ando deserves some sort of power too.

I read somewhere that the actor and the writers might be playing around with something, but i dont think theres anything set in stone. If anyone has clarification of this, pre..tell

Honestly...no. Don't get me wrong, Ando is an adorable little pervert and he always makes me laugh because of that, but he's too selfish. Hiro is all about saving many people selflessly, while Ando just wants to seem heroic to pick up chicks. I mean I guess it would be interesting if he we was given powers and that led to an internal revelation of sorts, but I still think the show needs its balance of "non-Heroes" as well. I feel like it would possibly tire out the main idea of the show -- "ordinary people with extraordinary abilities", and the whole idea that these gifts are a Godsend. And it would also seem as if the writers are being too generous as to who has powers. Random new character: "Hey, can I have a power?!?" Writer: "Sure" *writes in some random power just to make them happy*

You could also think of it this way; as Hiro has been saying all along, you don't need powers to be considered a hero, and if characters like Ando and Simone (whom I hope dies soon!!) are there as support for the real "Heroes", maybe they'll have their 15 minutes of heroism too, just in a different way. Like Zach for instance, you can kind of consider him as a hero to Claire, who at this point is the only person she can trust.

Naw, Ando doesn't need a power and he won't be given one, I like the whole Hiro with the power and Ando as the sidekick setup

Well yes Ando is a cliche male but I still like that he contrasts with Hiro so they compliment each other well it just makes for a good storyline. However, if Ando does die I could see how it would change Hiro's destiny dramatically

Ando has a power just like Claire where he heals Fast from the Gunshot in Primm, Nevada.

I love Ando but for me, Ando is the one who doesn't have any power but is still capable of being a hero. He's the one who will ground the story if it seems too out there.

I think I remember reading that ANDO will be used alot in the rest of this season so we will see maybe there is more to him.....

i see some news about ando on some german heroes fan pages - it was written about some rumor that some hero in season 2 get powers wich is someone who never had been discovered his powers before.could it be ando ? ^^ maybe and i think it would be cool. what if hiro could stop the time and ando could make time run faster or something like this? XD ok thats a little bit too easy but kind of that would be very interesting.

Yeah, he was born in South Korea and moved to NYC when he was 10 according to wiki.

If you remember in the episode where Hiro and Ando get the bag for that chick Hope, when theyre hiding in the luggage compartment on the bus, and hope goes to shoot Ando, the bullet comes out and then goes back inside the gun. That's nothing like what heroes powers have previously demonstrated, the bullet came out, and then went back in, that's not exactly rewinding time or anything. After it happened Hiro said something like 'What happened, that was weird' Ando said 'I don't know, my eyes were closed' i dunnoooooooooo

I really like his character as it is, i mean he and Hiro fit so well together, its a classic friendship and whose to say that just because he hasnt got a power he isnt important?

I would say his friendship with Hiro is extremely useful to Hiro as it gives him a kind of strength, remember in the first season how Hiro became without Ando?

One thing i've noticed is that Ando was promoted to season regualu or season 2, but so far he has had alot less screen time and hasnt had much of a story line

I think it's better if Ando doesn't have any powers because being the sidekick of Hiro gives a nice effect to the show.. a little bit of comedy as well (especially during Season 1, sorry I've got to catch up soon).

1. Ando has gotten a lot of less screen time...i frgt that he was a regular now beauause of all his less screenspace...i think he couldve gotten more but the strike...*angry*

The sword in the museum was just a fake The real sword was hidden somewhere in Linderman's collection. And as one of a million pieces probably wasn't examined that closely.

Ando definitly shouldn't get any powers. Especially since it becomes clear in Generations that the parents of most of the specials have left them a legacy of sorts (well basicly they made a mess and the juniors need to clean it up.. but still ).
