Saw that just before I logged on here. Looks amazing. Can't wait for it to start now! :<

Awesome!

Well according to Milo, there are gonna be sides of Peter you're gonna hate...

Hmm, so this could confirm Jessica as a villain. I think itīs improbable for Nathan, Peter or Claire to be villains. Nathan made his decision between "good and evil" long time ago and as long as he and Peter will stay together, I donīt think they might become villains. Milo said something about "other sides" of Peter, but as I said, I think that when Nathan is with him, he should stay "good". Claire was a brat in S2 but I canīt see this as a reason why she should become a villain.
I think Matt will probably have to decide or Hiro, even. Hiro was the purest hero in S1 but he crossed some lines in S2 and it could be really interesting to watch his character to finally grow and face the reality.

This video doesnīt say that much - only, for me, important news - Nathan will be there, which is great. biggrin.gif

As for the sides to Peter... bearing in mind I'm British and have only seen the first four episodes of season two, so correct me if I'm wrong, but since Peter absorbed Jessica's strength ability, isn't it possible that the sides of Peter statement could refer the split personality he might have also absorbed? I mean in like the third episode on season two when Peter is holding the Irish traitor dude against the wall, it took Caitlin to snap Peter out of the rage. Sort of seemed like a 'dark side' moment to me. Apologies if this has been mentioned/ rejected before, but its just a thought.

I honestly can't imagine any of the Petrelli's becoming villains either, or Hiro for that matter. Nathan's in a bit of a grey area but Peter and Hiro are like the poster boys for valour and virtue when you think about it.

The best bit of that video for me was at the end:

"3 hour season premier"

Wicked.

Well split personality isn't a ability, it's a disorder. So I don't think Peter can absorb that...
Enemy of Reality
Lol stop being pedantic tongue.gif but in all seriousness, I assume Jessica’s split personality was actually part of her ability due to all the mirror scenes, for some reason I doubt they would try to show a split personality to that extent unless it had some supernatural spin to it. So ya know, if this schizophrenia is actually part of Jessica’s ability then perhaps Peter did absorb it… and since he tends to use his abilities on reflex when he needs them, it could be possible that the split personality comes into play at a time when it’s convenient for him to act against his nature.

All just conjecture haha

Schizophrenia and multiple personality order are two completely different mental conditions, just for you to know. wink.gif Yes, it is possible for a person to suffer from both, but it is rare. Multiple personality order in itself is a rare mental illness, schizophrenia being much more common. But enough of that.

I find it hard to imagine Peter going to the Dark Side. I can certainly picture his character becoming darker (it is already happening. He's not the innocent, mop-haired dreamer he used to be, even though he's still gullible enough to buy Adam's saving-the-world sales hype.), and doing some really bad choices, but becoming a villain in the strict meaning of the word? No.

The other two I can't picture switching sides are Hiro and Claire. Hiro's too noble for that (although his decision to bury Adam alive showed that he is not above cruelty and torture... More merciful decision would have been to kill Adam. But hey, even the best of the men have days off tongue.gif ) and Claire is too busy angsting about unfairness of being different and the life in general to do anything noteworthy.

We've already seen "evil" side of Nathan in the first season before he decided to come into his senses and prevent the catastrophe, and Niki's Jessica personality was/is evil by default...

My point? Nobody of these five will become a permanent villain. The trailer is a red herring. :-P I see lots of morally gray ahead, all right. Of course, some may claim that resorting to evil deeds in the name of good automatically equals evil, but that's not me.

Every character has got to have the ability to be either good or evil, otherwise they can't be heroic by choosing to be good.

I think any of the main characters have the potential to turn into villains, it would depend on what happened to them during Season 3.

I dont see it the way you lot do,.. what if they're is multiple Peters. The writers have already said that they're will be multiples of some characters running about in the same timeline.

Peter hinted that they're will be sides of Peter that you will love and hate, is he hinting at a good and bad version?

if any of the "heroes" would turn to a "villain" it would be Matt. He reminds me of Lex Luthor in the way he would resort to desperate measures to get what he wants. It starts small, just things like forcing people to do what you want and then I can see him wanting to know the "truth" and forcing his way to get it.

Also Angela said something about " If you take this secret from me, Your not just like your father, you are him!" and we see later that he did in fact as he has the list of names.
Obi-Wan Gibnobi
Yeah thats the thing, some characters are capable of having multiples. Thats what I thought when the writers mentioned it, so I thought I had it narrowed down to 3 possible candidates. The empaths and Hiro, then you see this trailer and can only assume that maybe 1 or 2 of our other characters are simply going to turn bad.

I see wht your nodding towards with Matt. When he used Molly for his own needs it was very selfish and dangerous. Plus he has been burned a few times by his superiors, so you never know.

Just a shame that we have to wait dry.gif

Hmm two different kinds of Peter?? Finally Jessica would be able to connect to some one LOL. Plus its a hott guyXD
No I don't know what Milo means by saying there will be sides that you will like and won't like of Peter. I have a theory;

They have them all under evil and good. Maybe they all make there bad choices some how and it connects to some thing big later on causing them all to be heroic in the end together. I think that would be pretty cool.

Any who I saw the teaser, so cool. I just wish I could get more spoilers on Peter, man.
