That first one is going to be shocking. I hope he doesn't kill Elle. I think the other strong possibility is it might be M. Parkman.

Elle is a fan favorite and that's why she stayed alive in Season 2 for so long.
She's being actively pursued by Tim Kring and says she wants to stay on the show. I'm not sure what you mean by the first couple of episodes.
It's also been rumored that there she will return as a regular as is rumored with David Anders (Kensei/Adam).
The preview also shows other Heroes that are dead.
If it's true that she will die, why does she seemingly 'get away' from Sylar in the preview? She is caught by him and then she is with HRG and then the "Oh Crap" part.
It could just as easily be Sylar using Elle to get to Bob, or something involving HRG could happen, they are together and then you see HRG's gun move towards the ceiling and then a few seconds later, Elle alone says "Oh Crap". (Yes, later in the preview you do see HRG talking to someone and Elle with Sylar and Bob, but anything is possible, especially with the name of Episode #1.)
If she's not on as a regular, I will be disappointed (unless it's a beautifully written and acted death), but it's understandable.

Could not be bothered to read all this but I think that it is a very strong possibility that Elle will die. Regardless of all you just said.
