Well this is just an update on the Heroes Volume 2 dvd set. it took them a while to get it out in the open. There is not date set specifically, but you can sign up at amazon to find out when it will go on sale. There was some speculation that NBC might combine Volume 2 and Volume 3 into some sort of group set due to the strike causing season two to be shortened. But apparently that is not the case.

Do you know if that's a date when they open up sales? Or Pre-order? On NBC actual release date is set at 28th of August.

the July date is for the U.K. only. It's definitely been announced that the 26th is the release for USA.

Thanks, I got the numbers mixed up for the American date (26th of August), and is the 28th of July the estimated arrival date or is it when shipping begins?

I also heard that you can pre-order the UK version outside of the UK, the only problem is the formatting. It's in PAL format, so you would have to know whether or not your DVD player can play that format.

I'm interested because I may be going there over the summer (I hold dual citizenship (the lines or queues are just incredibly long without a EU or British passport.) and some old friends live there and are willing to give me a place to stay.)

I would say that both dates are for when it will be available to purchase, (ie. when shipping would officially begin.)
