I think the alternate role he was offered was Linderman. He is a mob type character, in Las Vegas (not trying to say anything derogitory here, this is my backyard), and has his claws into too many sections of the show....We need a new topic thread here with Linderman....
Kring reveals that Linderman will be revealed after the February Sweeps and that we will see more of Micah and his ability to manipulate machines. He adds that Simone and Mohinder will not get powers.
That's the actual spoiler where Tim Kring affirms that Simone will not get powers
I think you're going to have to expand on this, in what way does his name reflect what he does?

I'm assuming the OP meant Linderman is one letter off from Lenderman.. and most of what we've seen of Linderman involves him lending money.
Or maybe I'm wrong
FYI, while trying to post as an unregistered guest, your 6 character code generator is severely screwed up. It replaces random characters with "Code Bit". I had to click "post reply" about 25 times before it actually gave me a complete code. Clicking on the image did nothing.

Well, I will tell the site admin... While the simple solution to this problem is to register as a member of the site... So you don't have to enter security codes...

I kind of hope that Linderman won't be given a power and that he is just a mob boss with the right connections, and that is why he knows everything

Oh wow you want a list? I believe that he's been mentioned in every single episode (excluding episode 17) and the first time we see Nathan in the pilot is when he is on the phone with Linderman

I was just thinking about Mr. Linderman and a thought occured to me. What if Mr. Linderman is really Peter's and Nathan's father? He sure does know about their powers, and Mr. Petrelli doesn't have any powers that we know of from the comics, maybe Linderman had an affair with Mrs. Petrelli? That would explain it if Mrs. Petrelli had powers and Linderman had powers that they would have some powerful kids.
I don't know. What do you think? The idea just popped in my head.

I thought about that but I really don't think that Angela and Linderman have done anything and maybe I'[m wrong, I don't know but I'd rather that all the brother and sisters stay that way and don't become half anything, it becomes too confusing that way

There was some moron reporter from E! who asked Jack Coleman if Linderman was Claire's grandfather

. Coleman looked like he was talking to an idiot when he heard the question. Anyway my guess is that Linderman's only children were normal humans. Because if they were anything special Linderman I imagine would care about them more. Linderman is much like Magneto in which he feels that evolved humans are the true rulers of humanity.

I am still sticking with my Theory that Linderman may be the father of either Nathan or Peter Petrelli (OR BOTH!)??? Think about it! it makes sense! I think it would make for another another great twist! SO far the show has baffled my imagination, so I wouldn't put it past them to do it!

thats an interesting look out !! how about this linderman is conncted to most of the people and tries to control them and sylar has this behaviour to connect to all ( by using the list ) prove and fix things and see things and possess em all... do u think those qualities overlap ... even though the methods are different!!

If Linderman is the father (which I highly doubt because this isn't a soap opera) then he definetly isn't the father of Nathan because Nathan bears a striking resemblance to his father (see graphic novel)
