Locks burn off door as Mr. Muggles barks
Ted and Matt enter & start looking around house
HRG and rest of Bennet family arrive home
Matt doesn't want to take hostages of family; Ted convinces him otherwise.
Matt to HRG as they come in the door - "I'm sure you have a lot of questions. We all do."
Ted - "I don't need a gun, do I Mr. Bennet? Not after what you did to me."
HRG - "I'm just a paper salesman." [understatement of the year]

Flashback - "15 Years ago"
Thompson (Eric Roberts) gives HRG cover job as Primatech Paper Company regional manager.
The organization they work for is NOT named, though.
Thompson - Speaking of specials, "They don't want to know the measures we take to keep them safe."
Thompson - "You'll have a partner; one of them. That's how we keep everyone honest." [paraphrased]
HRG agrees and says he's ready to meet his partner. Thompson, "He's already here."
Claude was HRG's original partner in the organization. WOW!

SO, Thompson is HRG's boss -- 15 years ago AND now.

Back to present - Bennet Home
Matt hears Claire's thoughts...
Claire knows - The Haitian made her mother and brother forget, but not Claire.
Ted's hands start to glow. "I just want to be normal again."
Claire is still angry with Mr. Bennet - "He's not a paper salesman."
Ted - "Guess she's not Daddy's little girl anymore."

Bennet Home after commercials...
Matt and Claire are talking in another room.
Claire - "You can read my mind."
Matt - "Yeah, that's what your Dad did to me."
Matt is talking with Claire -- she is thinking about Peter Petrelli.
Matt tells Claire - "He [Peter] told me to protect you -- from someone who was like me."
Matt asks, "Are you different Claire?"
Speaking of UWHS death - "Your blood is all over that crime scene. You didn't have a scratch on you..."
Claire is still confused, "Did my Dad make me this way?"

15 Years Ago...
On the roof of the Deveaux Bldg...
HRG watches as a man (his back is to us) and Thompson talk.
HRG - "What are they going to do with the baby?"
Claude complains that the organization shouldn't have sent them to get a firestarter [Meredith].
The man, holding the baby turns around... it's Kaito Nakamura! (CharlieJ)- This verifies the theory I put forth last week!
Nakamura gives Claire to HRG and tells him not to get "too close."
HRG will be the baby's surrogate father, but belongs to the organization. (CharlieJ) - This blows my theory that HRG would become Hiro's surrogate father.
Nakamura - "If she manifests, we'll take her."

OK, so Yagamoto Industries *might* be another front company for the "organization". Kaito Nakamura is definitely part of the DNA manipulation organization. It also looks like he is Thompson's superior. I'm betting Mr. Linderman is Nakamura's superior.

Back to present...
Claire to Mr. Bennet - "Did you make me this way? Am I some sort of experiment?"
Ted - "We came for a cure."
Matt - "What if there isn't one?"
Ted - "We want answers. Who are you? What did you do to us?"
Matt & Ted attack HRG after he grabs a pistol from under the fireplace mantle.
Matt - "Ted put the gun down!"
Matt yells to HRG - "Tell him what he wants to know."
As tempers flare and Ted threatens to kill Sandra because HRG took his wife away (or so he rationalizes), Claire and HRG start thinking thoughts for Matt to "hear".
Claire - "Shoot me. Shoot me now!" // HRG - "Shoot Claire. Trust me."
Matt shoots Claire after HRG AND Claire tell him (via telepathy) to shoot her.
Ted chills out and even starts to panic because Claire is dead.
Sandra Bennet freaks out and runs to Claire's body.

Bennet Home after commercials...
Ted to Matt - "What did you do that for?"
HRG thinks to Matt - "Gain his trust."
Tell me it's not true. Tell me...

HRG thinks to Matt that they need to move Claire's body before she regenerates.
Matt & HRG rush Claire to her bedroom.
Matt apologizes to HRG saying he didn't plan to hurt anyone.
Claire recovers. "Where's Mom and Lyle?"
Matt starts to question HRG again -- as does Claire.
HRG - "I didn't make anyone... You don't have your facts straight... I don't have time to explain now..."
As Claire attempts to get up and head back downstairs... HRG - "Don't make same mistake I did. Don't put your family at risk."
Claire lashes out at HRG again. He looks sad and hurt...
HRG "You say you want a normal life. That's what I've been fighting for."
Matt - "He's telling the truth."
Claire's countenance seems to change at that moment.
HRG - "Do what I say and nobody gets hurt. And you [Matt], do what I think."

Matt, HRG and Ted downstairs...
Matt to Ted - "What we want is at the paper factory."
No surprises at the factory.
Matt - "I'll stay with the family. You go."
Ted - "No, I'll stay. You go. If you're not back in one hour, look for the mushroom cloud."

Flashback - 14 Years Ago...
HRG to Thompson - Wife is suspicious; Found guns in his bag.
Thompson - Wife is better off "thinking you're a serial killer than knowing the truth."
HRG - "Is my wife in danger?"
No.
Thompson explains - Boy discovered in Haiti; Mute
When asked to describe himself, the Haitian drew a picture of himself "...pulling memories, like little grub worms, out somebody's head."
Next scene -- 15 year old kid shows up at Bennet Home - The Haitian takes first crack at wiping Sandra Bennet memories.

No wonder Mrs. Bennet's mind is fried. She's had her memory erased off and on for more than 14 years. WHEW!

Present...
Matt and HRG make a deal... "honesty on both parts"
HRG lies to Matt - Signalled the Haitian

Back at Bennet Home...
Ted making fireballs in his hands.
Claire looking on from stairs - Ted thinks she's dead -- her body in her bedroom upstairs.

Flashback - 7 Years Ago...
HRG and Claude travelling down road
HRG explains there's been a security breach.
Company has told him to kill Claude because Claude is hiding a "special".
HRG - "Are you hiding one of them?"
Short answer is Yes.
Claude - "I was in your office, when they told you to kill me."
River gorge bridge - HRG stops the car.
HRG - "Get out."
HRG - "Tell me who it is and we'll forget about the rest."
HRG pulls gun - "Who is it?"
HRG - "You used to believe in what we do."
Claude complains about Claire's situation and HRG being ready to give her up.
HRG shoots Claude -- three times.
Claude goes invisible and disappears from bridge.

Matt, the Haitian and HRG are walking down hall...
Argument about others knowing about Claire's ability
The Haitian defends not deleting Claire's memory because he wants her to be aware of what's going on.

Back to Bennet Home...
Ted seems paranoid... goes upstairs
Claire comes in backdoor and cuts tape off Sandra and Lyle's wrists
Ted finds that Claire's body is not in bed upstairs.
He rushes downstairs.
Ted grabs Claire -- Sandra rushes back to Claire's side.
Ted starts to strangle Claire with radioactive hand, but she heals.
Sandra finally witnesses her daughter's special ability.

Bennet Home...
Ted is duct taping Claire and Sandra big time. [He must be from the South.]
Sandra - "I always thought you were a miracle."
Claire - "I'm not a miracle, Mom. I don't know what I am."
Claire tells Sandra that HRG is the one who made her forget.
Sandra - "God gave you a second chance. Find it in your heart to give your father another one."
Ted figures out that HRG and Matt are working together.
As Matt and Mr. Bennet enter the front door, Ted fires up his hands and asks, "Am I still in control Mr. Bennet?"
HRG answers, "Yes, you're still in control."
HRG shows Ted a folder, with pictures, notes and a CD-ROM disc -- telling Ted that it's the info he seeks.
HRG - "Since I'm risking my own life, I would rather not risk my family's."
Matt to Ted - "Do you want revenge or do you want the truth?"
Ted - "I want the truth."
Ted lets Sandra, Claire and Lyle leave the house.
Lyle called the police.

HRG to Ted - "We took you 3 months ago."
In the beginning, Ted had "harmless, low levels of radiation".
HRG tells Ted that he cannot be changed or cured. "The only choice is to kill you."

Thompson enters via backdoor.
Thompson shoots Ted in upper chest.
Ted goes nuclear and power throws Ted across room. HRG is also thrown several feet.
Matt, Thompson and the Haitian make it out. HRG doesn't.
Claire runs into house.
HRG tries to hit Ted w/ tranquilizer, but can't get close enough.
Claire grabs syringe and starts towards Ted.
Explosion! Doors blow off house.
HRG - "CLAIRE!"
Claire comes out - burnt to a crisp.
She walks over to HRG and the family wraps itself around each other.
Thompson looks on... with a sinister smile. [Can I punch him?]

Back from commercials...
HRG and Claire riding along in his SUV.
They talk about "how things have to be".
Claire reaffirms that Mr. Bennet IS her Dad.
He remembers when she helped him pick out his HRG's three years ago.
They stop along the same river gorge bridge as HRG used when he shot Claude.
The Haitian is there... and he pulls his gun.
HRG tells the Haitian to shoot him in the abdomen.
HRG tells Claire to turn around and cover her ears. BLAM!
The Haitian shoots HRG in the body.
As HRG cringes in pain, he says,"I love you Claire Bear".
She hugs him and then he tells the Haitian to "go deep" and remove anything that might help them find Claire.
Fade to black as the Haitian starts to remove Mr. Bennet's memories.

Wow, I loved this episode (of course I would) even though not that many questions were answered. I loved seeing a younger Claude and even little Hiro and that ending was one of the best this show has ever had, I'm totally baffled as to what will take place next

I cried @ the end.........

Very emotional

For anyone who wants the script of the episode this will probably be your best bet for the moment
