vote or post your thoughts here. I thought that maybe that's the reason why his dad wanted him out of the country, in case the company finds him, but how could someone know about time stopping abilities, if it cannot be seen in action?

Well Ando knows about his power actually I don't think that his father knows after all Hiro just recently discovered his power and I don't think that his father would have had time to know about it

This is what I thought, I thought perhaps the Haitains orders about Claire came from Mr Nakamura. I think he does know about Hiros powers, and does not want him turned into the company. He knows they need Claire and Hiro fully functioning, I think that he wanted Hiro back in Japan was to protect him. There is certainly more to him, we just know he works with HRG and that. I'd assume he is higher in rank then HRG. And I certainly don't think Eric Roberts character would have ordered the Haitain to protect Claire (& her memories).
Perhaps Eric Roberts boss is Linderman?
Eric Robert's character, Thompson, most certaintly wouldn't have wanted the Haitian and Claire to escape (though I absolutely love that they did). I do think though that Thompson and Linderman are connected in some way, how exactly I have no idea but I think there is something tying the two together

I think Mr. Nakamura is the owner of this company. Remember they talk about this genetics company. I think the "Company" is the genetics company...And no i think Mr.Nakamura is oblivious of Hiro's powers. He probably would have done something if he knew

I think that Mr. Nakamura has to know about Hiro's powers. When Ando and Hiro get picked up by the associate of Mr. Nakamura it is obvious that Mr. Nakamura knows that Hiro thinks that he is fulfilling some kind of grand destiny and wants Hiro to stop. With the flashback that this episode provided, I think that Mr. Nakamura understands what is going on with his son and is instead feigning that he doesn't. It's obvious that Mr. Nakamura is a very wealthy man, and I think that a lot of the revenue that he gets from the business that he owns that Ando and Hiro were working at goes towards the Company that Mr. Bennett is a part of.

I think that the fact him and Hiro were at the building with HRG in the past and they obv. knew about abilities at that point. But maybe he doesnt know what power exactly?
But ofc, Hiro could just be there "with his dad"

Mr. Nakamura/Sulu KNOWS EVERYTHING, he's some kind of mastermind behind the whole thing...
(and I think I hate him now...grrrrr)
This whole question thread is now (as per ch. 17) MOOT.

According to the behind the scenes interview with Greg Grunberg, Eric Roberts is Linderman. According to the spoilers, Eric Roberts is Thompson. Either someone is confused or they are one and the same....perhaps an alias.

I heard that spoiler but I believe it won't happen like that since
another actor is slated to play the role of Linderman and not Eric Roberts
but I guess we'll find out in next week's episode

I don't doubt you, I was only repeating what came out of Greg Grunbergs mouth during the behind the scenes interview....could this be counter-intelligence???? planting the wrong name with the wrong character on purpose to confuse us all??? I wouldn't put it past them.
Go watch the video, I believe there are links to it in this forum still, for sure it's on YouTube....

As i said earlier..My theory is that the genetics company that Mr.Nakamura owns and the company are the very same things. I think Mr. Nakamura does no about Hiro's powers but my guess is family means more than business. isn't that how it is wid all Asian families??
(not that is bad!! I love that concept...and by asian i am refering to all asians not oriental folk)
Nyways...Ye mr nakamura does it all. He is a very controlled and planned person. This is the reason he keeps such a beautiful attitude even though his son is doin crazy things halfway across the world

Do we even know that Mr. Nakamura owns a genetics company? All we know is that he owns Yamagato industries and that's it

The Topic is too intertwined with Mr. Nakamura PROBABLY OWNS the CO. (O.W.I.) and with U.S. Laws. They probably couldn't do the unethical reasearch.
And they have to go overseas to be unrestricted on their reaserch, and where else can you get the Highest Advance Technology for their purposes.
I'm guessing that having the Nakamura Name would keep Hiro safe from the CO.

One would think but if Mr. Nakamura ever found about his son's power, then I wouldn't be too sure

I though Takai found out in the episode where Hiro talks to him in person, when Takai rips up the painting.
Also, I think Hiro's father would hide the knoledge of Hiro's powers from the org. like HRG with Claire.

I'll have to rewatch but I do believe that Mr. Nakamura may have suspicions of his son's power after episode 14 (or was it 15?) If he does know of his son's power I doubt that he would tell the company, he'd probably just keep the secret to himself

I actually do think that secretly somewhere deep inside that Mr. Nakamura is proud of his son, he would just never tell Hiro that
