I could have sworn Ted Sprague gave his wife cancer... Does this mean that everyone who was in that house is going to slowly die from cancer?

I am kinda confused about this whole situation... One would think that Ted would give them all cancer from his radiation emitions...

Can someone please help me clear this up, or should I read the Graphic Novel?

I think his wife got cancer because he was always around her. It's not like as soon as you go into a nuclear powerplant you get cancer. It takes prolonged exposure. I think.

I would have to agree with Winnie on this one. Although if you want to be so realistic about it, Claire would of been butt naked last night after that explosion, not having strategically placed clothing from the blast

But given the amount of radiation he appeared to be giving off, one has to think there'd be some lingering affects on everyone inside the house, sans Claire and Ted.

yep...ted wife died due to radiation poisoning....This normally happens over a long period of time..>Not 2 hours...

Yeah like when Matt and Audrey were investigating Ted, they took pills to prevent the side effects of the radiation

its crazy how claire can regenerate after being choked by mr.radiation man.....But when she walked out of the house after the explosion...that was crazy....her face was messed up...

But howcome her clothes were still on lol? u would think everyting would evaporate including her clothing...damn...i was hoping they would. LOL

Those in the house probably did take pills to minimize the effects and also they weren't exposed for that long only like an hour so something as serious as cancer wouldn't occur

There is no evidence as to whether or not they took pills... So I think they have gotten radioactive poisoning of some kind...

There is nothing online talking about this subject... Maybe someone should "DIGG" this topic so we get more of an oppinion...

That's true that there is no evidence, it's just a theory that that is what occured. Especially since Matt and Audrey took pills, it just seems like that is what happened

One other thing, Ted was emitting quite a powerful lot of radiation, wouldn't the needle on the tranq gun have melted?

Or was it made to resist Ted's radiation?

After all the intense radiation, I also expected Claire's hair to be singed a lot more, but all soot and dirt aside, it seemed perfectly fine....

I just hope that they answer our questions soon...

It really was an amazing scene, they spent so much time on it so I'm not surprised that it turned out as well as it did

Well, seeing as to that HEROES has made a splash onto TeleVision, I think we have yet to see better CGI, and make-up later on!

yeah i know i'm very late on this topic and its kinda linked but didn't see a point in making a new thread for it. right question i have is that if ted was about to explode why did the hatian just stand outside, why didn't he go in and block his powers? and also why didn't he just wipe HRG bosses mind of seeing claire heal?
